My diet hasn't changed except a little more protein. My routine is as follows... Mondays - boot camp - this could contribute as we were doing a lot more legs lately Tuesdays - run Wed - core Thursdays - run Fridays - off Saturdays - run and weights Sundays - off I agree it could be in my head but my legs actually were…

Well looks like I am older than all of you here but here to help any one I can. Im 5'2". I still have 20+ pounds to lose.

After watching my mom suffer thru her last years with diabetes and do dialysis every day, I decided I did not want my life to be like that.

*waves hand in the air proudly* Yup that's me...46 and proud of it. Feel free to add...

I do not necessarily take a day off but I do change it up almost every day. The only day I usually do not "workout" is Friday but I usually linedance that night so I get lots of steps in. Mondays - Boot camp Tuesdays - pickleball or running - linedancing at night Wednesdays - core Thursdays - pickleball or running Fridays…

I just finished the c 2 5k program and it was really helpful. I am not a runner and have never been a runner. I can now after 8 weeks run 3 miles without stopping...ready to start training for 10k. Good luck!

I am getting back into weight lifting after several years of being out. Love it. It is working well to tone my body and my cardio is helping cut thru the fat. I started a boot camp class which does both weights and cardio so I might suggest something like that. If you search MFP under cardio, there is strength training…

I suggest the same...check that you are getting enough protein and when I get hungry later at night...I reach for water. This usually stays off the hunger until morning.

I get bored easily so Mondays are boot camp, Tuesdays could be yogo or pickleball and linedancing Tuesday night, Wednesdays are core day, Thursday is running, Friday off, Saturday running and Sunday running...and I throw weights in 2 twice a week...keeping my body guessing.

I strive for 10,000 steps a day but I make sure this includes my exercise activity. I usually easily hit 10,000 even with a desk job. Weekends are a little harder but I usually make it at least one day on the weekend. I just upgraded to fitbit charge hr.

I am 45 and trying to lose for my daughter's wedding in June. I am wanting to get that last 20ish lbs off.
-
Super job! Congrats!

34 lbs is great! 12 pounds in 2 weeks is amazing...1 pound a week is good! You will have down days. Its ok. I found when I get to the point of being bored with working out that I need to find something I really enjoy and is a good workout and sub it in. I do a lot of sports because just jogging to me is boring. I play…

I don't mean to sound mean but it sounds to me like the OP has a lot of excuses for not exercising. Go OUTSIDE your apt on those stairs you use to get to your 2nd floor apt and use those...they can get you an excellent workout!

I will be doing jerky again this year but I am also gonna try doing sticks. I made summer sausage last year for the first time and it was the bomb! Now to just go kill some deer for some meat!
-
Nice! Apparently I need to put a trail cam on the top of my yard barn for the turkeys. I came home last week and a hen had 3 babies in my backyard. I have turkeys in my yard all the time. The deer however, must be a little smarter...they stay just inside the woods along the fence.

 Woohoo me too! Success for day 1 for me!
-
Another day of pickelball!

It is fairly accurate and much more so than using mfp estimated exercise calories burned. I got mine in Jan and have lost my weight from being able to see what calories I am burning better. It helps. I just have the cheap zip version. I wasn't sure I would like it so I went cheap. I'm happy with it.

Always need cookies for a quick pick me up when fighting zombies. Lets go!

Im in...I need to give up dt dew...been trying to quit again for over a year. I usually make it a few months and then BANG right back at it.

Dealing with my other half not living the healthy lifestyle so there is constantly bad choices in the house!
-
Well so far is was just pickleball but I intend to change that after work.
-
Well..I will let you judge. I can hunt and kill and clean and cook my own food. I can grow my own food. I am pretty mechanically inclined and very creative. I do not have a problem with defending myself or what is mine or helping out friends (this could be my undoing)...and I HATE zombies.
