I tend to add 0% Greek Yogurt. Extra protein and really does thicken it up quite a lot.

I'm going to find the same products but from Tesco in the UK. Potatoes - £3.41 (approx.) They're half price at the moment, so it will be £6.81 next month for 5lb. Frozen Haddock Fillets - £3.25 for 1lb. It's 2 for £6 at the moment. Fresh Haddock Fillets - £5.36 for 1lb. Gala Apples - 78p for 1lb I found both frozen and…

I wish I had made some of these two days ago. Every couple of weeks I made chicken or turkey burgers. I crush up cream crackers, use an egg yolk and cover the chicken or turkey breast (I batter it until it's a little thinner), cover it with the crumbs of the crackers. I add onion powder, garlic powder, herbs and black…

The way I see it is, if you are eating quite a low amount, you should try and push yourself a little each time to eat a bit more. Hell, even if it's 50 calories added on a week, it will slowly increase to the right amount. If you are already eating a highish amount, weight lifting and such, nuts are a great way to increase…

You could easily trick him with the pizza's. Buy some ingredients that he likes, obviously don't go for the most unhealthy ingredients and make your own pizza. I made a few pizzas before using Warburton's Square Wraps, a whole tin of tuna, peppers, onions, mushrooms, passata, a bit of cheese and it came to less than 600…

That's the problem with our family though, my dad eats for two lol. He isn't massive or anything and burns a lot of it off working from 7 to 5, 5 days a week. There are also five of us all together and me and my Mom are the only ones that are bothered to eat healthy. My brother lives off of Super Noodles, Microwaveable…

Trust me and everyone that posts in here, you aren't fat or overweight. You look slim and healthy. People who say these kinds of things are usually jealous and need to say them to make them feel satisfied, but trust me, they are most likely hurting inside about themselves.

Someone other than yourself stopped you from having a KFC lol. Lucky you >.<

Try incorporating nuts into your diet. Very calorie dense and don't tend to be very filling for a small portion. Or you could slowly add a little extra to each meal every couple of days and get used to it.

Yay :D Just do your best and keep pushing yourself to go through with it, you will eventually get there.

That must some big a** salmon O.o I'm pretty sure it's what is being served with it. If you notice, the other meals says no sides and the calories are a lot lower.

I think you should eat at least half of the calories. I see a lot of people with a calorie goal of 1200, exercising and burn like 400 calories, don't eat any back and only eat like 1000 calories of there goal. It's just not enough food. Take this for example. My BMR is 1800 and I'm mainly at the desk, so my activity level…

Like others have said, alcohol does affect your weight. Alcohol have calories and depending on what you drink will add up, they have no healthy nutrition in them. I noticed last year, I cut alcohol out completely, you shouldn't cut everything out all together, but I noticed a huge difference. I'm not trying to say you are…

I just search each ingredient in the database and add it. I find it's a pain making recipes or meals because I know I'm not going to stick to making that meal with the same ingredients or same portions. I also find it easier to just go on previous days and use the quick tool to copy the meal and change it a bit. I do this…

2 per day of fat in what measurement? Grams? If this is try then you are definitely not getting enough fat in your diet at all. Fat isn't going to hurt you at all, there are good fats and bad fats. It isn't going to cause you to put on weight, eating above your BMR and not exercising will cause you to put on weight. For…

The way I increased my calories slowly was increase a portion of food you normally have in a meal a bit. So let's say you have 50g of lean meat in one meal, up that to about 75g or 100g if you are feeling up to it. Same with other food. You could also try adding nuts into your diet if you aren't eating them already. You…

Eat less? I don't think she should be eating less, but eating more. Her calorie goal is at 1250. Tuesday she burnt 434 calories and ate only 1385 calories. Which would come out in the end as only 951 calories. Monday, she burnt 667 calories and ate only 1403 calories. Which again, comes to 736. I know people would moan…

I eat meats, mainly lean such as chicken or turkey, but I enjoy ham, beef, pork and lamb. If it's being cooked I will trim the fat and eat it. It tastes good and it's better than going out and having a Big Mac or Boneless Banquet. I eat veggies, I'm not a massive veggie eater, but I try and eat them. I usually have…

I don't think you should worry too much about it. You won't always get an accurate amount of food in packaging anyway, so even if you ate the whole bag it's going to be a few calories higher or lower than it says.

Let me just add something else to this thread. I remember back in high school I only ate like 1 meal a day and it wasn't one meal that contained all my calories for the day, it was one regular sized meal which was maybe 500 to 600 calories and that was it. I thought it was great at the time, I was losing weight and my…

You shouldn't go on fad diets, you should try the lifetime diet. You eat healthy, meet the correct calorie goal for slow weight loss and it's for a lifetime. Don't try and find the quickest way to lose weight, weight loss should be part of a journey to changing your lifestyle and shouldn't be rushed. You will learn a lot…

Knowing what we eat and how much of it we eat helps us to create a balance in our diets. Fruit isn't bad for you, it's a complex carb which takes longer to digest and such than a simple sugar would. They also contain vitamins, minerals and like Rolande said, Fiber. As long as you are within your daily calorie intake, you…

When I was in high school I would always take: Chicken or Ham, Lettuce and Mayo Sandwich on White Bread Packet of Crisps Cheesestring Can of Diet Pop/Soda Banana Yogurt Drink If I were you, replace the mayo for cottage cheese, the white bread for wholewheat, cheesestring for laughing cow and the fizzy drink for water.…

If I know what I am having for Dinner I will log it, sometimes I will change a few things when it comes to making Dinner. I find it easier to adjust the rest of my day if I log other meals.

Cake or Krispy Kreme Doughnuts lol.

I usually have 3 eggs a day. Great protein source and I'm still here, happy and healthy :D

I just had a quick look at your diary for today and you could easily halve the amount of pasta you are having for Dinner and increase the amount of tuna. This will give you an increase of protein as well. The Square Wraps are also great, I use them for pizzas from time to time, but I only have one and try and get as much…

I try and have a good sized breakfast, I tend to overeat and pig out if I don't have a big breakfast. You can take a few things away or replace a few ingredients to make it your own. Warburtons Square Wrap Peppers Onions Mushrooms 3 Whole Eggs 2 Turkey Sausage I lightly fried the veggies in spray oil, so it has little to…

Everyone should do what they prefer and are comfortable with. I get up at about 5:30am and I need to be out of the house in 5 minutes, I only have a part time job, but I have to get out, work, drop my dad off at work and get home. I don't have time to prepare my big breakfasts in the mornings, hell I don't have time to…

I've been having Cottage Cheese since a few weeks ago and I add it to Omelettes. I have also used in breakfast burritos which also consist of turkey sausage or Quorn sausage and scrambled egg. Really great protein breakfast. I will also use it as a substitute to mayo at times. EDIT: Maybe you should also try buying the…
