i suggest getting some wrists weight or carrying a couple water bottles in each hand while walking, and really swing your arms like you do when you power walk. It will help tone your arms a little.

I'm a horrible flier also. I freak out, and have had a few panic attacks. My dr gave me Zanax to take for flying. It works! I still have the butterflies, but I'm pretty mellow and can usually tolerate the flight pretty well. Except the last flight, I took it too early and had to have a couple of cocktails once the plane…

if you do the crockpot thing, I put chicken breast in the crockpot cook overnight, shred the chicken and add a jar of salsa, then plug it in at the tailgate. Everyone loves it, lots of protein and low fat. (i eat mine with a fork, but a lot of others use buns)

I live in Ohio and wear my flip flops pretty much year around, and even in the winter. I've even gotten on the treadmill with them.
