When I went back and looked at my MFP reports and compared them to my net calories, the days where my net was low, I lost nothing (I weigh every day) and the days where my net was 1000 plus, I lost. Also, with the exception of practice days, I never workout more than 45 mins and only 25 of that is cardio. Don't kill…

I have been where you're at so many times and I PROMISE that it is because you are not eating enough. I recently busted through a plateau that happened from the exact same circumstance you are in and when I upped my calories, it was like magic. Look: My regular food goal with no exercise is 1450 calories. My estimated…

Eat your exercise calories back!

I ten to go with whatever the machine tells me, especially if it has been using my heart rate. For example, yesterday the elliptical at my gym said that I had burned 224, but MFP said 305. I just made a mental note to only eat back 220 or so of those calories. You can also change the time to reflect what the machine says…

You look great! Congrats! I do want to point out that you don't have to spend that much time in the gym or eat that little to lose weight. I'm also on track to lose 30 lbs in 3 months (actually closer to 2), but my calorie intake is around 1400 and I eat back every single exercise point. I also never spend more than 45…

No, it definitely isn't sustainable and my loss has slowed quite a bit as I expected it to. When I started, I was at the very high end of my normal range and the first few pounds came off very quickly. Also, I exercise a lot because I play roller derby and I also do supplemental training to improve at my sport and prevent…

I would be willing to bed my last dollar that you would have lost much more than 8lbs in a month if you were actually eating the calories recommended. I've starved my way to failure on every "diet" I've tried and now its like I'm not even trying and the weight is coming off - 21 lbs in about 6 weeks.
-
Hmm... I may try this in 6 weeks to change things up. Do you mind me asking what your losses have been on this plan?
-
I definitely agree with the previous posters - you are not eating enough. I recently hit a plateau and it was basically because I was eating too little, I upped my calories and lost 2 lbs instantly. From my blog (http://all4derby.blogspot.com/2012/04/great-practice-great-weigh-in.html): My regular food goal with no…

Oh awesome! Roller derby is my drug, haha. Thanks for the challenge invite, I'm going to check it out!
-
We don't have Derby Lite in my area, but I've heard good things about it! Sounds awesome :)
-
Oww, yeah you definitely need to take care of yourself first. Derby will always be there if you choose to go back, but you only get one body so best to treat it well!
-
DO IT! I promise it will be one of the best things you've ever done for yourself.
-
Sure, thanks!

If you have an iPhone/iPad, look up Gorilla Workout (http://www.gorillaworkoutapp.com/exercises.php). It has 3-4 levels and a workout for every day and they can be done anywhere. I usually do one of the workouts and some cardio. They change every day so you never get bored. If you don't have an Apple device, try this site…

I haven't had any black eyes yet, but plenty of bruises. There is a saying, "roller derby saved my soul" and I would say it's totally true. If you're thinking at all off doing it, you should! I wish I had started years ago.

Thank you!

Awesome jb140! Yes, I looove it. I play for the DC Rollergirls. Nothing else matters when I put on my skates :)

You look great! Incredible transformation and the work you put in is obvious :)
