  • I have to have my oatmeal every morning. I'm not "hungry" at all, but I know I need it! I could easily go until 1 or 2 pm without eating, but being a diabetic, I have to balance my carbs throughout the day, and that means starting the day with something in my tummy!
  • I created my own Zumba in my exercise options. I input the calories from my heart rate monitor - I seem to average 300-350 in 55 minutes.
  • Once a month because I lose soooo slow! If I check more than that, it feels like I'm spinning my wheels. :)
  • Try interval training. Go as fast as you can in whatever you're doing (jump rope, biking, etc.) for 30 seconds, go back to your normal pace for a minute or two. Repeat as many times as you can. You will see a quick improvement in burning calories, and your stamina will also improve. Keep up the good work!
  • I have a Polar F6 that I love! I decided to wear it all day today to see how many calories I actually burn throughout the day ( approx. BMR), in addition to exercising tonight. Since 9 am, I've burned 875 calories. That seems pretty high, but maybe it all evens out overnight??
