Wow, never saw this thread before, I would love to join in. I joined MFP in aug and have lost 12 lbs since, I need 5.51 lbs more to go which seems so difficult. I'm down 2 lbs for couple of days then I gain it back right away, I've started to hate the 71.5 kg figure that it reads off the scale. :sad:

I think a more positive title for this thread would have been "Name an exercise you want your body to love eventually..." ... and that would be pushups for me. :tongue:

Wooho! done 6 miles today, up from my usual 3-4. My leg muscles have started speaking "mate, a spike like this is okay once a week, just dont make it a daily affair". :tongue:

Good work on your 3 miles too. I know how I did last mile after the 3rd one today, I deviated from my regular route just so that I do that 1 mile and match yesterdays. 4.15 miles ONLY. I tried to better yesterday, but couldn't. On the brighter side, I was feeling lazy to get out & walk today morning, thanks to wifey, she pushed me for it ! :flowerforyou:

Great work dinos, thanks for putting up the effort ! Taking inspiration from some peeps here who do 6 miles, I'm trying to step up up from my regular 3 miles/day. So I've done 4.14 miles today, hope to walk longer tomorrow.

Wow, I need to learn the secret behind the strength. :noway: Updating my miles today - 3.15 EDIT: What is the avg. speed that you guys walk ? I think speed also makes a big difference in terms of calories burnt. I do mine at around 4.1 miles, I tried 4.5 for couple of days but that's just too fast for me to carry on…

Nice idea and taught me too that I'm measuring my abdomen as waist. Now I see that I might be few inches less than what I actually measure. lol. EDIT: o yes, and good work !
