  • Seriously guys I'm not going to turn into a rabbit and just eat lettuce, and I'm not going to give up cheese! I'm just looking for advice on types of cheese/recipes/sneaky ways of making less cheese go further!
  • I eat them back if I'm still hungry, but I don't force myself to eat just to make up the numbers if I'm not hungry
  • This sounds heavenly!
  • I think the point I'm trying to make is that for the same calories I could just fill my face with a plate full of yummy veg. I do work my *kitten* off in the gym (at one point I was running 10k everyday) I'd just like to find some kinda cheese that doesn't use up all that hard work in one mouthful!
  • Knowing that this is something I have control over! The only reason I can't walk into a shop and buy the clothes I want, is me. I can make positive action to change it. There is nothing stopping me from looking the way I want. And that's so exciting!
  • In my experience, you should just listen to your body, not think "I need to stick to this regime". I was running 5k every day for ages, one day I just thought "I feel great lets just go for it and see what happens". I bust out a decent 10k there and then. For me it was mind over matter. Just be aware of your body telling…
  • Uk based, in Essex atm
  • Hi I'm 5"3', 24 and similar weight :-) yay for U.K.!
  • I've personally found treadmill to be much more effective to rack up the calories. But, this is all about your and what you're going to stick at. Maybe switch it up between the two? That way you are getting the different benefits of both but keeping the high impact risk of the treadmill lower than if you were doing it…
  • I'm looking to lose about 10kg too. Don't be disheartened by people losing 4739262kg, your personal journey is what's important. I've found logging food on mfp soooooo helpful, half the time I didn't even realise how calorific the stuff I was putting in my mouth was. I am a bit of an exercise nut, and I can run that little…
  • Just hang in there. Once you accept that it's going to take hard work, and yes it will take some time, you will be much happier in your new lifestyle. Don't forget about all the other health benefits you're giving your body, they are just as important as the weight loss. I also have a terrible sweet tooth, try doing some…
  • Have a good stretch afterwards, and try getting some protein in ASAP afterwards, ideally within 30 mins. I usually just down a glass of semi milk. Foam rollers also will work wonders and as a professional dancer I couldn't live without one.
  • Peanut butter. I was always under the impression that its pretty good for you (and it is if you buy the right kind) so must be low calorie. WRONG. Having said that, I'd rather get tonnes of cals from something nutrient dense like peanut butter than a fizzy drink which is full of rubbish.
  • Natural Yoghurt....relatively low in calories and really satisfies my craving for something sweet and 'dessert-like' after dinner.
