I studied this extensively in school, and at the end of my research, I do not believe that Aspartame is safe. Just becuase something doesn't cause immediate death does not mean its appropriate to eat/drink. However it is approved by the American FDA and Health Canada (where I live), which is why there is so much confusion.…

I've been in weird situations like that and its very important you take this seriously. Normal men DON'T behave like that. Repeat...NORMAL MEN DO NOT BEHAVE LIKE THAT. To start I would visit the local police station and show them the letter. It doesn't mean you are pressing charges or anything, but it means you are…

I watch it on occasion, I love seeing how they learn how to eat properly and improve their lives. I especially like the check in 3 months later, its like looking at 2 new happy healthy people. I feel bad they have to swap diets at all, I think it must be equally hard to stuff your face with junk as it is to eat almost…

Each person is different on how they view this, so this is what I personally believe.... If its stuff you don't normally do in a day, then sure, add it in, but if its part of your normal day to day life then I don't recommend adding it because its something that your body is more or less used to doing. For myself now that…

I've never thought of it that way before- brilliant!!

I buy the Summer Fresh Garlic Hummus and use it on wraps instead of a mayo or other dressing. I also buy the Summer Fresh Roasted Red Pepper Hummus and use it as dip for veggies. I like them both. I also like regular plain hummus, and either eat it with veggies, or sometimes pita bread as well. I tried the Artichoke/…

I used to drink a lot of diet coke, and when I first tried to quit cold turkey I got awful headaches as well. I tried to white-knuckle through it and I just couldn't do it. What worked for me was to cut it down to 1 can a day for a couple of weeks, then I cut it down to 1 mini can a day for a couple of weeks, then 1 mini…

There's lots of reasons why you could be feeling sluggish, some are minor and easily fixed, others are a warning sign of a bigger problem so I definitely think its something that you should talk to you doctor about.

What's in it?
-
thanks everyone - there's lots of great suggestions here, I will definitely try some of them.

Yum!!!! Big ingredients list, but sounds delicious, and I am loving that 160 cals!!!

thanks everyone, I think I get it now. :)

I understand reading packages, I just wasn't clear on how MFP records it on the food dairy. I thought it was all calories, but I just discovered the "full report" button, and I think its in grams there....but again, I'm not sure.
-
I agree, definitely something to talk to your doctor about.

Hee hee. Nice to know I'm not the only one who likes brussel sprouts. :)

If you like videos, you can get more at the local library. Also walking is one of the best exercises you can do. You can also do pushups and sit ups at home. Or use cans of soup for hand weights. I'm sure other people will have even more suggestions. :)

YEAY!! Congrats! what an amazing feeling. :flowerforyou:

I agree with this poster. People have to be allowed to be sick sometimes, go on vacation, have emergencies etc. Besides, studies have shown that most people give up on their gym attendance, and often pay for months of not showing up before cancelling. I don't think the gym is out to "motivate" people - I think the gym is…

For myself I try not to think of it in terms of "good" or "bad", but instead a learning process. So while I feel better if I've worked it off - because that's better then what I used to do, I still think of the binging as something that needs to be stopped. So what I've been working on is trying to figure out what caused…

I'm sorry for your loss. But I'm also glad to hear that healthier eating has had a really positive effect for you. :flowerforyou:

I get migraines from dairy - all the choices you listed also have dairy, so maybe its not the sugar? What my doctor recommended to me was to write down everything I eat and what time I get headaches, the intensity etc. Then start eliminating things from your diet that are suspect. Add them back in one item per week to…

I think 77 pounds in 90 days is way more then most people can possibly accomplish regarding weightloss. In general, its recommended to lose 1-2 pounds a week, so your average is triple the norm. That being said, I don't know what weight you started at, what you did to lose it, so I can't possibly comment on any of that.…

That's what I've heard too, but I was hoping to hear from people who actually had this happen to. thank you for sharing though.

Yeay! I'm happy to hear your success story. Thanks for sharing. :flowerforyou:

When I used to work in a daycare we made scrambled eggs in a large casserole dish in the oven. You just premix your eggs and anything you want to put it them. Spray the dish with pam add the eggs and stuff, and put it in the oven around 350 (no lid). Check on them every few minutes, and mix them up each time you check. It…
