I agree. but you can camouflage what you don't like with clever make up, and the right clothing and undergarnments.

Best wishes to you. I hope MFP helps you reach your goals.

A few years ago I broke my diet coke habit. It wasn't a bad habit to start with; maybe a couple of cans a day. But when I stopped cold turkey I ended up with a major caffiene headache that lasted for days. Eventually I had to cave and go back to having it. So next I cut it down to 1 can a day only over a week, then the…

Nope not strange...but speaking from personal experience - it can make for an embarrassing workout at the gym later tonight. :blushing:

That's awesome!!

thanks everyone. There's so many ideas here I doubt I will be bored of breakfast for quite a while. :)

thank you,I never thought of scrambled with veggies and herbs all wrapped to go, and the pre-grilled chicken is great too. Wonderful ideas!

I worked in childcare for over 10 years, and I can tell you truthfully what is going on here is a battle of wills. She's learned that if she waits long enough you will cave and give her what she wants. No doubt that when she looks at you with big sad eyes saying her belly hurts that you must feel like the worst mom in the…

I would recommend adding in a bunch of veggies each day. I looked at your diary and I think one of the reasons you are hitting your sugar/sodium/carb maxes and still under calories is because there is lots of processed food there. Also, I completely understand not having much taste for meat - as I'm usually in the same…

Congrats!!! That's a wonderful story, thank you for sharing. Best wishes to you and your future misses!

I would log it - exercise doesn't have to be boring or painful to count. If you enjoyed it - even better. Its means you're more likely to do it again.

I looked into it years ago and even had a consultation with the doctor who did it in my area. He said if a person is not ready or willing to follow a restricted diet and exercise that it won't work. He said he had many patients who were not successful because they weren't making the effort. Even though you physically have…

and what do you base this opinion on??

I make most of my stuff. Very little take out - or prepackaged food. It is more time consuming, but I find it tastes better, is more healthy, and cheaper in the long run. After a while of doing this, I don't even like the taste of packaged food anymore. (except chips - me loves'm)

I hope you do great!! I hope you love it as much as I did. :)

thanks everybody. :) Nope, i haven't tried kayaking yet. I want to try one that you sit on top - which I don't currently have access too. I only have acess to a very tippy one that you get strapped into - that I'm not ready for yet, but maybe in a couple of months. :)

Veggies! You can eat bucket loads for almost no calories, no fat, and no sodium. Plus they are full of nutrients. Pairing veggies with lean protein will definitely keep you feeling fuller longer Hope that helps. :)

That's awesome!! high five!!

A couple of years ago I went to a personal trainer and loved it. I still use most of the techniques she taught me. The gym had about 12 personal trainers on staff. I picked her because in her profile she says she was a chubby child who grew in an obese adult (over 200pounds most of her adult life, and over 250 when she had…

I'm intrigued....so I checked out a trailer on youtube- now I'm going to have to check out that video too. :)

I agree. Lots of people on here have great intentions, but they are not educated in your specific health needs like an OB would. Best to consult your doctor.

Completely not true. EVERYONE needs at least 1 bm a day. Doctors will tell you its more optimum to have 2-3 a day. Think of it this way, whatever goes in MUST come out. If it isn't,then its sitting in your intestines and/or colon and rotting there. This can bring on health problems so you need to get it out.

Now and then I go through periods where I have panic attacks. I found this spring while working out at the gym that it would sometimes bring on an attack. I'm not sure if its the same as you are feeling but I would feel like I couldn't breath, my heart would be pounding too hard, light headedness and of course an…

this is a really good idea when you have a 1-a-day vitamin. Otherwise you are probably peeing out most of the goodness before your body can digest it. Splitting it up helps your body process more of it.

Try taking it with food. It should make a big difference in reducing any nausea. If that doesn't work, talk to your pharmacist or doctor as there may be an ingredient that you have an intollerance for.

When I travel, at buffets I eat fruit and veggies first before getting any "main dish" stuff. And I limit to 1-2 small pieces of dessert - at dinner only. I also make sure I get in my water, and pick low cal liquid alternatives -like herbal tea, and only the occasional fancy drink - like one a day. But I also make sure I…
