Hi! I'm Kerri. I'm 28 years old and recently became a mother on October 23rd. He is my biggest inspiration. I want to be healthy for him so that I can be around for a long time! I started on MFP in 2012. It was the first time that I got serious about my weight loss. That year, I lost over 70lbs and I felt great!…

Starting weight: 236.8lbs.

I went on a nice long run and spent a half hour in the fitness center! It felt so good! I am trying to find time to go for runs during the week! Time management is next on my to-do list!

This part really spoke to me. I don't like to make excuses, but I have let certain obstacles get in my way, and that is what I am trying to move away from!
-
Wise words! I am getting it done!!

This is a fantastic idea!!! I am definitely going to do this. I play Halo online like there's no tomorrow. I definitely think I'll start punishing myself for my deaths in between games with push-ups or sit-ups. Thanks for the idea!

Post a picture on Facebook. Not a revealing one, just one in a tank top and shorts. I've been keeping my weight loss mostly a secret except from people who see me all the time.

This is incredible.

Welcome back! You can do it this time! I believe in you! I, too, have done this before, lost, and regained it all back. This time we can do it!
-
Great progress in one month! I can really see a difference!!

These were my thoughts too! I wore it for my wedding shower, and with that memory attached to it I definitely don't want to let it go!

There we go!

Hmm.. I realize you can't see the pictures. Darn it!

Pfft. Mayans were wrong. When they stopped making the calender (or "predicted" the end of the world) they did not include leap year as this was not included in our calenders until much later. So according to the Mayans prediction, the world should have already ended. Maybe your constant 2012 sighting is telling you that…

People want you to tell them that you wished it away. They don't want a challenge. So no, when I tell people that I am losing all of my weight on a website that helps me track and manage my exercise and diet with the help of a group of supportful MFP friends, they never listen.

This is what I was going to ask. What are both your start weights and goal weights?
-
I started out at 240.6 lbs, and this week I am at 213.6 lbs. So thats 27 lbs in the last 10 weeks. So I average out at 2.7 lbs a week. Usually it is about 2 lbs, but it can vary anywhere from 1.5 lbs - 5 lbs a week. My first goal is 188, then ultimately 150.

I agree with BigRich. A long look in the mirror helps me get motivated. Also, think about how hard it is to get started. Moving backwards is not the way you want to go! A little slip will be okay... you can push back through. But don't let yourself have a big slip. Getting started is always the worst part, and you don't…

Snacking is always good! Just be smart with your snacks! I personally love grapes or carrots! Snacking is good if you remember moderation, and try not to let in those that are bad for you. It keeps your metabolism going!

This one made me laugh... A lot. Gerald's Game in your pants... by Stephen King This one actually makes since if you've ever read the book.

I think it is okay to spoil yourself sometimes, but I don't have a technical "cheat day". I'll allow myself fast food or eating out, but I still try to maintain my calorie intake for the day. Its a personal choice. I just don't want to 'cheat'. It wasn't okay when I was working hard towards my BA, and it isn't okay now.
