I also hate it when gravity stops pulling on me. Stop playing with me gravity!

I would say that yes, that is a lot of fat. There must be an ingredient you are using that is high in fat.

I buy a 2kg bag of frozen fruit for 10$. It is packed with strawberries/melon/peach/grapes. I put some of those in the blender with milk and protein powder. It makes a delicious thick and cold smoothie. Beautiful stuff. I also freeze my own bananas since they are so cheap too, and sometimes I add yogurt if I have some.

nobody ever claims that. Thats obviously not what they mean.

agreed, hommade slaw is delicious and can be healthy. If i ever go to a fast food restaurant I never expect to get healthy food.

well 9lbs in 3 weeks is rapid weight loss. 12lbs in 5 weeks is more resonable but also rapid, especially if you are not a obese person. You objectives are a little ambitious, I would reccomend less expectations in that time frame, or the same objective but in more time. The problem with rapid weight loss is that you will…

Super C has a frozen bag of fruit with a lot of strawberries for 10$, the bag weights 2kg, pretty sweet deal for a delicious base of a fruit smoothie.

well a pound of fat on earth is a pound. But an earth pound of fat on the moon is only 0.16lbs. A kg of fat on earth is a kg of fat on the moon as well though.

bit by bit the grocery culture will change!

I thought the bagel would be up there, those are packe dwith calories. Couscous is just another form of refined flour pasta. Try quinoa instead of couscous, you will love it.

try the curry, its so good. The rest of the world knows about it but westerners are just warming up to it.

the biggest problems with undereating, or starvation mode are these: your metabolism slows down, your body will function less efficiently and you will have less overall energy, you will lose muscle mass. The point where this effect happens depends on the person. A large overweight male can handle a much larger calorie…

MFP protein goal is set to 15% of your daily calories. That is pretty low. Most weight lss diets reccommend up to 30 or 40% protein. You can change your percentages manually in your goals settings. I use 55% carbs, 30% protein and 15% fat

As noble as it is to raise and grow your own food, I don`t really want to to spend that much tiem and effort simply to feed myself. With the advent of technology we have to find efficient ways to feed not only ourselves, but everybody, in healthy manner. The best soluiton shoudln't be, you have to do it yourself.

I think if you don`t break a sweat, your heart rate isn`t getting high enough, so you`re not burning enough calories.
-
How long have you noticed these results, you should base your progress on the results after 4 weeks of trying something new. Results after 1 week don`t give you an accurate picture of what is happening.
-
That is to general a statement. For some woment it would be undereating, for some it would overeating, for some it would be perfect. It depends on weight, age, physical activity, metabolic type etc. It depends.
-
You shouldn`t have thrown those 2000 and 2500 numbers out there, even the article clearly states that it depends on the person.
-
Lots of people here want to see big results quickly too. I think tha tis why they undereat. People should focus more on being healthy. Lose weight the healthy way, do not lose weight the unhealthy way.

Try this for 1 week: Go to the grocery store and buy Fruits: apples oragnges, banana's Vegetables: Broccoli, sweet potatoes, bell peppers, lettuce Whole wheat bread oatmeal chicken breast brown rice lean steak whole wheat pasta make those items the main food you eat, include others healthy foods as you want too. Cut out…

the rate you are losing at is fine. If you stop losing weight for 1 or 2 weeks it isn`t a bad thing. Your body will still be changing. You will lose some fat, build some muscle, tone your body. The weight will start to come off again shortly. This isn`t a must avoid situation. This a day to day struggle, but result should…
Wrongly labeled as such. Most fruits, aside from melons are a lower GI than whole grains which are labeled as complex carbs. Simple carb is supposed to mean it's quickly digested and raises blood sugar.
Simple carb means it is composed of 1 or 2 sugar molecule. Complex carbs have 3 or more sugar molecules…

eat carbs before your workout for more energy. Make sure you are consuming enough calories in your day as well. If you don`t eat enough, you won`t have enough energy to have good workouts.
-
If you don`t eat them back, you will lose weight faster. This is because you create a larger calorie deficit. But faster isn`t better becasue you will be losing muscle mass along with fat. If lose your weight at moderate rate, 1-2lbs per week, you will be getting healthier and fitter at the same time that you lose weight.
-
fruits are simple carbs. Simple carbs are not always bad though, obviously.
-
I agree that the way your body absorbs the sugar if different, but what it does with is essentially the same in terms of end product is what I was getting at; so ya your body doesn`t treat all sugar the same. I`m not trying say fruit is bad, I know it's good, but I do believe that too much fruit can be bad for weight loss…

sugar is sugar, be it from fruit, honey, milk or the table. Your body treats them pretty much the same. Fruit has health benifits that go along with the sugar so its better for you, but you have to eat fruit in moderation, 2 or 3 servings at most per day. Check out this site comparing fruit portions to sugar cubes:…

I see a couple reccomendations for protein pre-work out that I don`t agree with. You want fuel for your work out, protein is not a fuel, carbs are. Eat the complexe carbs a coule hours before your workout and simple carbs less than 1 hour before. After your work-out its important to get protein in asap to rebuild your…
