I have progress pics, a whopping two sets to be exact. One set from 8/14/12 and one from 9/1/12. Maybe I should take new ones on the day I start the 30ds. Thanks!

I wonder the same thing myself, especially since I know that I deserve better. We all do. Good luck on your journey!

I mix a lot of things with tuna. In fact, I make a salad that grosses out everyone around me but I absolutely love it! I put a can of tuna on top of some lettuce, toss in lowfat shredded cheddar, little Italian dressing, and the hottest salsa I can stand (I've heard spicy is helpful for burning fat but I could be way off).…

Your determination for a better way of living and that "come hither" look in your profile pic ;) Good luck on your journey!

My small win for today was seeing a 15.2 lb loss for my end-of-the-month weigh-in. BAZINGA!

I guess your overly rude comments are ok since you followed up with "sorry to be mean or insensitive." I will never pretend that I haven't been "lazy" or made poor food choices. I am completely aware that a lot of this is my own fault and that's why I've made the conscious decision to make changes. As someone who is…

I'm just about 5'5", but my weight loss goals appear to be a bit higher than pretty much everyone else's who responded to this topic. Still, I'm looking for more positive influences to add to my MFP friends list. My support system IRL actually blows. :-/ Good luck to all on achieving your goals! :)

Do you actually have a juicer? I keep saying I'm going to get one. I'm not totally familiar with the concept but it sounds to me like it's pretty straightforward... just pure vegetable and fruit juices as your food intake and (as always) drinking plenty of water. I did just briefly read through this site.…

I think it's kinda funny, and I'm totally used to it since I've been big all my life and have often had doctors with weight problems. I always thought to myself, "if you have all the answers, why do you look the way you do?" Not trying to be mean or anything. I guess it was easy to think that way though, since they all…

UGH! This is like, the worst trick ever!!! I'm so absurdly dilligent about reading the full label these days. I also very often find myself adding new foods to the database when tracking my calories on MFP. Does anyone else do this? I feel better knowing that I've read and understood the labels and have all the information…

Her realistic goals, her motivating picture of her progress, and as the weight comes off, the clothes are gonna get cuter and cuter! Good luck, sister! :)

The longest I typically make it on a health kick or diet is however long it takes for me to plateau, which is usually between 20-25 lbs. after roughly 3 weeks. I'm down 8 lbs. since the 12th of this month and I already want to go eat calzones and spend an entire day in bed under a Snuggie watching horror movies. It's sad.…

My first goal is to drop 60 lbs. (53 more to go, as of today), then I'm hoping to take another 50-75 off after that. So regardless I'm looking to crush over 100 lbs. Adding you. Good luck on your journey!

I see this as something that's just like anything else in life: it's what you make of it. To satisfy my personal goals I use it as a support system as a little reminder not to give up because I deserve to live as the best me I can be. For those who are in far better shape, maybe it serves as motivation to continue on the…

I've been on 3 types of birth control. The regular old orthotricyclen (sp.?) and the low-estrogen version cause maybe a 3-5 lb. gain immediately but I was able tp drop that. I'm currently on a progestin-only pill that is absolutely AWFUL! In the first 5 weeks of use, I gained 22 LBS! In addition to this unwelcome addition,…

At this point I feel I'm almost positive I'm going to try the OxyELITE. I'm aware that is it to be used as a supplement to my diet and exercise routine and that using it alone will not get me the results I'm looking for. If it's not right for me, lesson learned. I'll try something else. Aside from HydroxCut or Xenadrine or…

I have only lost 7 lbs., but... I just started to use MFP again 11 days ago. I'm motivated by this small change and I'm focused on losing another 7 lbs. And another 7. And another 7. And another 7. And... My primary form of exercise (walking) is helping me get more talk time in with friends and family. I already feel more…

I'll be 30 on November 17th... no matter how much I try to deny it! I was 10 lbs. lighter when I originally started with MFP (we've been on and off like a boyfriend that doesn't always fit into your life) so I get discouraged by seeing "0 lbs. lost" on my homepage even though I took of 7 lbs. in the last 11 days. By…

Well yeah, I kinda figured it had something to do with the caffeine. However, before I jumped back on board with MFP I had tons of caffeine and was still hungry all day. Like I said, yesterday was just a new experience. Usually coffee for me used to mean some kind of frappucino from Starbucks with tons of sugar and fat and…
