I would say it would be just fine; enjoy it!!! It's a break from the norm, plus you will not go over your calories; I wouldnt do it all the time.

Sent request; I need to ban fast food too; although I have been cutting it out slowly; I don't really care for it much, I use to love Taco Bell, I think it's really nasty now.

Good for you!!! I promised a friend I would do a 5k with her in Oct. and I stink at running/jogging. I will be working on getting my jogging time up.

Well the good thing for you it is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise to be successful; but you really need to exercise; not just for your health, but it you have a good amount to lose it will keep you tone and tight; so you do not become flabby. Ha!!!! Good luck.

That sounds really small for a 5'10" male. But if that is your comfortable weight go for it, trying adding more protein and veggies.

The exercise program's you suggested are too intense for someone her age that hasn't been exercising (I'm not saying anyone he age can't do it). What about Zumba? It's more like dancing and having fun than working out. She does need to concentrate on eating better. It is 80% nutrition and 20% exercise to get the weight off.

I also like celery and gaucamole too!!! I know it's more fattening; but at least is cut's out the need for chips, and avocado is good for you as well.

I am all about easy; I doctor up a can of black beans; saute' 1/4-1/2 an onion in a tiny bit of olive oil; add 1 clove of minced garlic then beans and add cumin for a smokey flavor. I add that to brown rice even my 10 year old will eat it up.

I don't; I guess I am just mean; my husband is slim muscular, he doesnt care what I cook as long as he doesnt have to. He will make a comment here and there, if it's too healthy.
