Flavour your meals with dried thyme. It's probably one of the lowest calorie options to get extra iron.

Just use myfitnesspal's recipe tool. Food - Recipes, and then put in your information. It's a pain if you cook different things all the time but it's very useful, especially if I put the ingredients in before I make it, that way I can adapt the recipe if it's too many calories.

When I went on Cerazette I gained 4-5lbs in bloat/water! It eventually settled but it was weird, I blew up like a balloon almost overnight and stayed like that for months.

If you can buy tinned beans in water (not salted) you could make a nice bean salad. Or if you buy beans in salt water give them a very good wash, but it would be better to track down some unsalted ones.

I like mine, it lets me know how much of a lazy bum I can be sometimes (and how few calories I burn when I am). My only comment would be I have the One and I would have done just as well with the Zip as I find the floor tracking very inaccurate. It will even say I've climbed stairs when I haven't left my flat all day!!!…

I like to chop up a banana and give the slices little peanut butter hats, it's actually my favourite way to eat peanut butter.

I've asked to be checked out for anemia a few times since becoming a vegetarian as I have very heavy periods but I was always fine. My doctor even told me that even though I'm vegetarian it's unlikely to cause anemia and that it's normally caused by something else (such as eating very little or other medical problems),…

I'm not going to say that sugar isn't addictive or cannot make you fat, but I don't think it's evil. I watched about 10 minutes of the video up to the point where he is saying that we're not getting fat because there is more food available (and it's cheaper), he actually goes so far to say that is has never been the case…

In all honesty, of all the side effects that come from hormonal birth control, weight gain should be the least of your worries.
-
Dice it up and add it to stews and curry like dishes to thicken the sauce. You'll hardly even taste it.

I eat bread, I lost weight, no problem! I guess you can try it but it's up to you and how much you like bread.

Oddly enough mine would all go together well: Banana Peanut Butter Honey Semi-skimmed Milk (number five was a different honey, I'm honestly not addicted to honey) I think the lack of dinner/lunch like things is due to the fact I use the recipe tool a lot as I know for certain it should be chopped tomatoes, number one, as I…

I should confirm that this scandal is only relevant to Britain and Ireland. It has been big news over here I don't think there is really anything wrong with horse-meat, it's just that we don't eat it here, and because of that this meat is illegal and we have no idea if it is safe such as what drugs the horses might have…

Please do wear shoes when doing high impact exercises like these, no matter how soft your carpet is. I got shin-splints from doing something similar and it's no fun. But if you're new to it you'll also feel some muscle pain for the first few days anyway.

It's on 4oD :)

I saw it. I must admit I watched it not being a fan of weight watchers and it was only confirming things I had already thought. It could have been more controversial but it was all quite obvious. I don't think WW is a terrible program for weight loss, I just think the products are terrible (junk food which is actually…

I think it's good to try new things, and there are so many veggies out there that all taste so different and can be prepared in different ways I wouldn't worry if you come across something you don't like. Roasting carrots can make them super tasty if you haven't tried that yet. When I come across something I don't like…

Give them to me! But honestly, no one likes everything so there is no need to force yourself as long as there are other veggies you like. Tastes change so who knows, after a year of not eating them and trying them again might help. Do you like other sweet root vegetables?

I have the rather controversial opinion that if you don't like your coffee black/pure espresso then you don't actually like coffee. I also don't believe in adding sugar to coffee either, unless it's really bad and you HAVE to drink it and not just throw it away because it's disgusting. But that's just me and I'm possibly…

This is what I would do. Any other substitutes might be just as many calories and not half as satisfying. If you want the real thing just have less of it and enjoy it more.

Often the database doesn't list iron in items where there is plenty of iron, incase you're worrying about your numbers there. If you're eating meat you shouldn't have a problem unless you're suffering from a medical condition making you anaemic. Things you can add to your diet to improve it: Liver is the best source of…

That does seem a lot. You could try weighing them and then finding a roll entry, by weight, and logging it that way.

Special K is not the healthiest cereal out there by a long shot. It's all sugar and nothing else, no nutritional value at all. You need to look for a cereal with low sugar and high fiber. If you really like it, go ahead and eat it, but you may as well eat Frosties if you wanted. The Special K diet is just a way to sell…

I don't know, but you'll need to take height into account too because someone who's 4ft11 will look a lot different at 9 stone than someone who's 5ft8. There is this website: http://www.mybodygallery.com/ so you can put in your information and get a better idea. Plus, celebrities' weights fluctuate all the time so they're…

Wow, I spend less than that and I'm feeding two. I actually became vegetarian because I went through a period where I was too poor to afford meat and then eventually went off it. Still, I have a look at the cost of meat and I'm shocked at how much it is. However, I am in the UK so it might be different here. I can only…

You're not going to be losing/gaining like that, as people have already said. I want to add one possible answer to the fluctuations that no one has dared to mention: poo. (sorry, that was pretty crass, but I really am serious)

Not me. I can make myself two slices of toast for lunch, be full before I finish the second slice, and not be hungry again for quite a while. Clearly I need to be studied, I'm such an anomaly.

I find it takes a while to get used to the slightly different texture of wholewheat pasta. I started by using it in pasta bakes where it gets the life cooked out of it anyway and then slowly introduced it into other places, normally with a strong/spicy sauce and loads of veggies, until I got used to it. Also I find that…

One piece of advice is to get the most amount of protein you can from your carb-loaded food-stuffs. So check all the labels of things like bread and pasta and rice etc and buy the one with the most protein. Quinoa is the best example, beans are great too, but both still contain plenty of carbs. You could also try eating…

There's nothing wrong with bread. As you can tell, you will hear a million stories of how bad bread makes people feel etc. Me? I eat bread and I never suffer from bloating, tiredness, sweet cravings. Actually, bread fills me up and is satisfying, I've always been a healthy weight, and I don't have a fat belly. I would try…
