I'm 5'8 and 127 lbs. I'm at the goal weight I set a few months ago, but now I want to put on muscle. According to my trainer, I'm not supposed to worry about the number on the scale, just body fat %. I'll have to get over watching the numbers go up on the scale. Needless to say, I'm sure it will be a difficult adjustment.

I absolutely love the girl scouts pin! I laughed out loud literally!

I've been lifting for over a year now and my trainer has started me on lifting heavy (with a bulk phase soon to begin). Feel free to add me. I would love new friends that lift.
-
I am shooting for 1600 net calories and building. I don't eat bacon, but sending FR anyway :)
-
Are you serious?
-
Thank you! I'd trade my smile for your eyes - very pretty!

Wendy's Chili isn't too bad (minus the cheese); Submarina will do a salad with cut up chicken breast. That's what I usually do in a pinch.
-
You can add me. I lift 5 days/wk and log my food hear daily, but not always my workouts since the app isn't that user friendly for strength training.

I eat the Dannon Light & Fit Vanilla Greek Yogurt (80 calories) and add fresh raspberries and sometimes Kashi.

Pizza - (Ninja Turtles lol)

Yeah, anytime you're on a weight loss diet you should take a multi-vitamin. I shredded 8% bodyfat and only occasionally took my vitamins and became anemic. I now take a multi-vitamin, biotin, BCAAs and a protein powder.

Yeah, you know your hair ain't bad... LOL

Thank you. So are you!

Thank you. Which one?

Your hair is gorgeous, and you look like a fun friend.

Salmon, lean beef, chicken breasts, fresh spinach, broccoli, eggs, Dannon vanilla greek yogurt, raspberries, kasha cereal, skim milk...

I don't really crave candy much anymore, so probably not. When I do crave chocolate I have a Quest bar. Yummy :)

Your comment made me laugh :)

I lift heavy weights, put them down and repeat over and over lol. Seriously, weight lifting for an hour always makes me feel powerful and in control of any problem.

If I were you I would eat back about half of them. Most machines and definitely this app overestimates calories burned.

I asked the question on how much I should carb load the day "before" my training session for legs. He had told me the week prior to make my last meal of the evening before whole grain pasta, but I forgot to ask if I should add an extra meal. I was trying to be better prepared than the last session because I almost passed…

Thanks for the advice. I saw your advice after I ate the extra meal the day before, but thankfully, the extra meal didn't hurt me. I also ate oatmeal two hours prior to doing legs yesterday. I had a great leg day, and had more energy than last time, but I still got a little bit dizzy and nauseated, albeit 45 minutes into…

I just stopped my shred program and am starting to bulk and lift heavy. Yesterday was a heavy leg day, and I was so nauseated and fatigued after my training session that I couldn't eat much (yogurt, kashi and a protein shake). I was low in calories for the day so I drank a Cytogainer later before I went to bed... That…

Feel free to add me. My diary is open, and I log every day.

Feel free to add me! I am also looking for female friends who are trying to build muscle!

I eat a complex carb (oatmeal) 90-120 minutes before and a protein shake 30 minutes before.I drink BCAAs during (or after) my weight training. On my cardio only day (1/wk) I skip the protein before. In either case, I have another protein shake within 30 minutes of my workout (before I stop sweating).

I agree with the BCAA's. These are essential to repairing the muscles. You can get them at GNC. 8:1 ratio is best. My trainer has me drink it while I workout or after.
