Sounds like you both had grand adventures with horses last month, between only turning right and bulldozers! I rode my horse Rahsi bareback for the first time today he only has about 10 rides total. My husband led him for the first time around the round pen then I took over after he unhumped his back. :) I will ride him bareback through Tuesday in the round pen bareback then head out into the open With a saddle. :)

I just started back on MFP after a break. I am hoping to ride at least 3 times a week through the winter. Being a part of an active horse/MFP group would be a huge help to keep me motivated and committed to both eating well and riding.

I bought a heart rate monitor that tracks my calories so I know exactly how much I burn. Each horse is different and unfortunately each day is different so my calories fluctuate depending on Which horse I am working and whether or not they have attitude that day, or maybe I have the attitude. :) On my good well trained…
