veggies are best, some of those fibre bars have plenty of sugar, and I personally don't find them very filling. adding a small salad to your meals really helps. one cup of green is only about 15 calories.

I have a bullet, and it has been great, but it can't do what a Vitamix can, it just can't handle grains, tough greens or other raw foods. I am planning to order one this week!

Thanks cbirdso for the great information!!! I've heard it's dangerous to take iron supplements, but no doctor have ever checked my levels. so I've just been trying keep it around the recommended amount here on mfp. thinking, I should talk to my doctor about it

I'm also vegetarian, greens are a great, especially kale, also iron fortified cereals, beans and lentils, and molasses are great sources.
