Being able to run a fun easy 2 miles and not push the pace! I am endlessly training for marathons and halfs and for time, so for me to just take a day to just seriously run for fun is HUGE. Felt amazing to not be searching for perfection :-)

My goal mileage is 80. I want to play it smart post marathon number 2 and not rush the mileage back up! Tomorrow will be my first run of November :-) I also want to get back to focusing on cross training more!

+5 on halloween! Sorry its late posting, I don't get on MFP much on my laptop lately. Did not meet 100 but I am ok with this. I am recovering the way I should from a marathon and my body is feeling great!

Peanut butter and banana whole wheat toast slices with turkey bacon OR Whole wheat toast with egg whites, ketchup, turkey bacon, and onions for a delicious homemade breakfast sandwich!

+5 Post marathon experience #2...I feel so guilty for not raking up the miles again but also know that I got injured that way so I am reverse tapering if that makes sense!

Catching up the miles...+3 shakeout and then 26.2 marathon!! May not run again until Saturday, trying to do things different from last marathon as I got hurt after that one and I think I did too much too soon. So maybe not reaching 100, but hell I completed my second marathon!

Princess Leia! My boyfriend is going to be Han Solo for me. Halloween is my absolute favorite and I am so excited to do this costume this year! I am a huge Star Wars fan. It will be the white dress official costume. Now if only i could find someone to be R2D2!

Thanks everyone! I definitely can relate to being my own worst critic, holding myself to higher standards than others and higher than others hold me up to. It is very good to know I am not alone and I will continue to find ways to decrease the negative self talk!

Congrats!!!! I get so excited seeing people that find themselves through running as it has been just that and more for myself! Keep going and who knows...someday you could be finishing your first MARATHON :-)

20 mile long run yesterday PLUS 2 quarters of football for a total of 22 miles yesterday. Phew...definitely feeling wiped today!

I am an eater! I train for marathons and even on long run days I strive to NET 1200 at least which could mean a very high intake. But I eat clean and healthy with the exceptions here and there of course because we al deserve to live a little. Feel free to add me :-)
