I think that is ridiculous. My dad used to make me get a flu shot as a kid and I was sick every year with respiratory or even the flu itself. Once I turned 18, I stopped getting it and I have not been sick like that since. I work in a school that serves children with moderate to severe autism and other developmental…

I am clueless on how to post pictures in the forums but I can say for myself, it took about 1 year of Running (training for my halfs and fulls), full body strength training, eating cleaner and better, and also stretching a lot dynamically, after and at yoga to get my thighs down by about 4 inches around I would say...maybe…

I am allergic to dairy. Yes allergic. Not just lactose intolerant, allergic to Whey and Casein. Officially diagnosed through skin tests, blood tests, the good old food diary test, etc. I get so very frustrated when I mention this at restaurants or to friends and immediately get Oh yeah I'm lactose intolerant too but I just…

+5 If I could have squeezed my 16 miler in today, I would have hit 110. But I am happy with still hitting the 100 mile mark with an injury!!

Being allergic to whey...trust me when I say that you will find so many more protein bars with whey than soy. The only protein bars I can eat are Clif and One other kind I cannot think of right now it is Chocolate peanut butter flavor though. Anyways, if you want whey you have so many options!

Running at least 4 miles, HIIT strength training, Spinning, and my football practice for my fundraising game as well all burn in those high ranges. Hot Yoga does for me as well. Some days I also work out in the AM and PM, such as days where I run and then have practice in the PM. Edit: 4 miles at least for me because I…

Around the area we have BikeOrBar which is a locally owned spinning facility. Their classes range from ones for beginners that help you learn how to up the resistance to classes that incorporate kettlebell exercises. I love it there! Even the beginners ones are challenging! I too stopped spinning for awhile because my gym…

+4 Hamstring is a do what doesn't hurt type of injury. So I will keep the goal and just go with the flow. Can't get down on myself for a strain!

Haven't updated since awhile ago! So I have ran 22 miles since my last update. Despite having to take a step back in my training due to my hamstring woes, I am still on pace for 100 I think...I hope anyways! +22

My downfall was college...go out on the weekend drinking and dancing, then stop at Jim's Steakout for a Chicken Finger Sub meal. Yup...no calorie information on that but I would eat a whole one plus fries at 2, 3 AM. I was never big on fast food...especially not McDonald's just driving by one has always made me want to…

I have burned anywhere from 500-1000, it is all dependent upon the humidity and temp in the room (this is affected by how hot it is outside), and the effort your body can put out that day for each pose etc. So...I would estimate it based on your body weight. Higher cal average if its more, lower if its not. I have used an…
