You must be doing something wrong. When I was 180 pounds I would use 3 calories per minute if I was walking at 3 miles per hour. so 3 x 46 minutes = 138.

People who realize I'm losing weight enjoy telling me that I'm doing it wrong. I tell them that this tasty bowl of pasta is the one thing keeping a knife out of their chest. zyxst - you crack me up everytime you post something!!! hahahahaha

Hello, NO - don't give up. it takes longer but you know how fast time zooms along! I'm at 9 months of using MFP and just about halfway to my goal - but it look me 15 years to gain 45 pounds, so if it takes 2 years to lose it, I'm okay with that. I'm not in a race and every pound is a victory.

I scramble an egg & nuke it for one minute in the morning and put it in a bun with some cheese and viola breakfast in one minute!! I like it, my husband thinks it is gross.

I ate MFP's suggested 1280 calories per day for the first 4 months and lost 6 pounds. For the last 3 months I've been eating 1450 (my BMR) and eating back my exersize calores and I've lost 14 pounds. Granted I always low ball my calories burned as I don't trust MFP's numbers.

Just google calorie burner calculators...there are a million of them on the internet. I googled a whole bunch of different versions for the exercises I do and then took a low average so I don't over estimate.

i have to go REALLY fast to do 30kms an hour..I can't imagine doing 30 miles per hour!! haha. I have an old bike too and I generally do 20-25km's an hour and I use 7 - 7.5 calories per minute. Not a direct science, but when I go to the internet and search for calories burned, and tried out a couple of calculators that came…

I am on week 21 and have lost 11 pounds.
