I'm 51 with MS and menopause! Double whammy in the heat of the summer. I've lost 19 pounds since March. I'm pretty darn happy about that. I'm doing 10,000-12,000 walking steps a day and eating under 1700 calories. I want to maintain long term so I don't deny myself any food...I just keep my calories under the 1700 mark.…

I hate it when people comment on my food - annoys me. Keep your nose out of my lunch!

I agree that smoking should happen in designated areas. Being a 30 year smoker (quit 3 years ago), I don't like the smell anymore, but I refuse to be one of those a-holes that waves their hand and screws up their face at someone smoking outside.

After 30 years of smoking I quit using Champix...worked for me! but, I think I probably would have started up again if it wasn't for the e-cigarette (no nicotine) - it just makes me feel better to have it. Not sure if Vape is the same as an e-cig?

I SOOOOO agree. Unbelievable how dense some people are! I'm walking down the sidewalk and some woman is walking against the flow of pedestrians and everyone is forced to move out of her damned way so I stopped right in front of her and said "GET OVER - do you NOT drive"?!?!?! She quickly moved over - idiot.

If they are crate trained from a young age, it can be stressful for them to be let loose when they are alone. Their crate is their safe haven. Maybe limiting him to one room if you don't want to use the crate anymore would be a better option? Or, maybe he is just plain old bored and left alone too much...?

Way to go! It has been 18 months for me after smoking for 30 years. If you want it, it is doable. I also recommend the e-cig for those moments where the desire is unbearable!

I think it depends on who you are...I'm almost 50 and i don't think it works the same for a middle aged woman as it does for a 20 something year old! I tried to eat TDEE -20% all winter and gained 8 pounds. I'm now going back to 1300 calories + excerise.

Totally depends on the dog's personality. I had a border collie that I would have trusted with my baby - he was so calm and obedient....but the border collie I have now, snaps at the cat if she thinks the cat is getting something she isn't. So I wouldn't ever leave her alone with babies or kids. I believe every breed has…

I was a late starter too. Stick to roads you know at first. Slowly venture out of your comfort zone when the roads are quiet (Sunday's?). Eventually you will gain confidence. Good luck.

My husband's favorites. He is a red neck Albertan (Canadian) "slick as a slobber" - it went well "tigher than a bulls *kitten* at fly time" - cheap "useless as tits on a boar" - self explanatory "son of a jumping moose" - instead of swearing "judas priest" - again instead of swearing
