Same has happened to me. Is your body looking better, though? With my body, I have noticed that the clothes fit differently before it ever shows up on the scale. Weird, right?

I'm going to try more protein, less carbs and sugar...more exercise.

I did the Atkins diet years ago and fried chicken was never on it...the flour from the breading would have disqualified the food...I did lose weight but too restrictive and you gain all plus back...all in all not a healthy diet.

Umm...that sounds dangerous

Yes, it's me and my oldest grand baby...

Kind of a reverse...you pay him for him to "have" you..Wow, talk about him having his cake and eating it too.

Oh I am so sorry...grief causes the nausea and lack of appetite. I hope it isn't a messy split and you in time can move on.

Wow that is interesting to think about. I never thought about the candy stuff. I put peanut butter on apples, bananas, and celery. I don't use jelly, though and the pb is no sugar added. That is one thing I will continue doing. Gravy is disgusting when you think about what it is. I totally agree with her. I have some…

My thoughts exactly. I know many who have diseases where it would be detrimental for them to try to lift weights and of course there are the ones that are in wheel chairs unable to even feed themselves much less lift weights. They would give anything to be able to exercise. I found that statement very insensitive.

I get unmotivated fast, too...but this time, I didn't and after 2.5 months I started losing in noticeable inches...not necessarily lbs. but that will come. I look better and have dropped a few sizes. Hang on...it is like rolling a small snowball downhill. It takes time to build up momentum.

I just bought it...today will be the first day to use it...here goes!

Hey...I'm 5'2" and I am trying to lose down to 130 lb...but 140 would be great, too. I am down from 205 and have been concertedly losing weight for a little over 7 weeks. Oh and I just turned 50.
-
I turned 50 a few weeks ago. I hope that's not too old. It's good that you are getting in shape in your mid 30's...it gets harder the older you get. Oh well...I have lost 26 lbs and have about 40 to go.

It all depends on you and what you can handle. I have a friend who had the bypass 5 years ago. She can eat anything she wants but has never gained the weight back. She is a size 2 and lost 140 lbs. I wouldn't have the bypass because of absorption problems. If you want to try the surgery then maybe you should go the…
