I'm Canadian with strong Irish/Welsh roots and this describes me to a tee as well (except my eyes are grey/green). I've been told many times that I look very "Celtic".

I just like to run, so whether it's on the trails or the treadmill, I'm good to go.

I'm 34 and have been running since the spring (although I was a runner in high school but that was 15 years ago). My PB for 5km is 26:49 and I ran 10km for the first time last week in about 56 minutes (I don't remember my exact time). I typically run 4X/week and right now, my training schedule is 2 short runs (3.5 miles)…

LOVE Lululemon. I didn't get the hype at first, but now I'm an addict. However, I never pay regular price. ETA: Just noticed that everything I'm wearing in my profile pic is Lulu - headband, run shirt, tank, and shorts. LOL!

Meh, I have one mini can of Diet Coke pretty much everyday. It does not increase my cravings, I can stop (and feel satisfied) after just one mini can, I have successfully lost over 87lbs., and to my knowledge, I have not morphed into a genetically altered monster. If you enjoy diet pop, have some, but it's all about…

I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to sign up (I have until the 27th to decide). I want to do it and know that I should do it, but I hate the cold and snow (hence the reason why I've been sticking to the treadmill instead  ).

I'm an April Fool's Day baby. :embarassed:

I"m 5'3" and my starting weight was 214.5lbs in July 2011. I initially set my goal weight at 139.5 lbs. in one year for an even 75lbs. weight loss and fall within the healthy BMI range, but as you can see from my ticker, I didn't stop once I reached it in July 2012. I've re-adjusted my goal weight to 125lbs and I only have…

A healthy and/or realistic weight loss is 1-2 lbs. per week, so I'd say that 20 pounds in two months is neither. Are you running/walking outdoors or on the treadmill? If you're on the treadmill, crank up the incline especially when walking.

HW: 214.5 lbs. (July 2011) LW: 122 lbs. (high school weight) CW: 127.5 lbs. GW: 125 lbs. ETA: I'm 5'3".

I don't eat them back because I'm never sure exactly how many calories I'm eating and burning (there's always such a margin of error). So, for me, I just see exercise as an added bonus, not an opportunity to eat more. However, I don't work out like crazy and I eat enough to make sure that I'm not hungry and/or feeling…

100+ kms. running (I do a minimum of 25 kms./week).

I'm 5'3" and I've gone from 214.5lbs in July 2011 to 128lbs in November 2012. I've re-adjusted my goal weight a few times, but I'm pretty sure that I'm going to stop at 125lbs.

Meh, the way I see it, as long as you're running, who cares if it's on the treadmill or outside.
-
I did that - I kept a picture on my desk at work. Now I think I actually weigh less than my skinny picture.

I started running back in the spring and ran my first 5km race since high school back in September (finished in 27:30 and came in 6th in my age group!). I'm building up to 10km and so far, I'm up to 7.5km in 42 minutes. ETA: Current run schedule is 25km/week (two 7.5km runs and two 5km runs).

I went for my first outdoor run in over a month this past weekend when it was about 0 degrees Celsius (I've been a baby and have been running on the treadmill instead because I hate the cold!) and I was about 20 seconds slower than my last outdoor run when it was about 10 degrees warmer. I changed into warm clothes and had…

I'm trying to figure out what an 8 course meal would entail as I've never even heard of one bigger than 4 course (soup, salad, entree, and dessert).

What's funny about before and after pics?

Yep, I keep lowering my goal weight. I'm 5'3" and it was originally 141 as that is the top range of healthy BMI. Then, I lowered it to 139lbs, then 135lbs, then 130lbs. and now to 125lbs (I'm 128lbs. now). I told myself that I wouldn't lower it any more than 125 but we'll see once I get there.

Same event, three different years (although my weight loss journey only started in July 2011) November 2010 (at my heaviest weight of around 215 lbs. and wearing a size 18 stretchy dress): November 2011 (down to about 185lbs. and about size 14) November 2012 (down to 128lbs. and wearing a non-stretchy size 6 dress that is…

The healthy weight range for women 5'3" is 104-141lbs, so I'd say that 105 is definitely borderline too thin. Apparently, the 'ideal' weight for 5'3" is 122 lbs. so that's as low as I'll go. I originally set my goal at 139, but lowered it to 125 (I'm currently at 128) and I'll probably lower it again to 122lbs. and stop…

Poor taste in hockey teams.

I had one back in Feb. and the prep was so much worse than the procedure! It made me nauseous too, but I managed to not throw up.
