I've made one using 1 tbsp of coconut oil, tbsp of peanut butter, tbsp of unsweetened coconut flakes and a few drops of vanilla flavored stevia. I liked it!

She has been having various health issues for the past 3 months that have led to mental health issues. Rapid weight gain resulted from her condition, which leads to insecurity and low self esteem in a 13 year old girl so her therapist ordered this. When we got out I told her the low fat thing is Bull pucky and we will…

I use Hunts Thick and Rich Spicy Red Pepper & Chilies ( gets the furnace going). Its 11g per 1/2 cup so that's only 5.5g per 1/4 cup and available in Atlantic Canada! or do you mean Ontario? I'm sure its the same there.

Weigh your food for accurate calorie count, and don't be afraid to eat. I would cut out the nuts. Some people have issues with nuts causing stalls. I can only see 3 days of your food diary and from that I suggest no nuts, upping calories and avoiding hidden sugars in proceded foods and drink LOTS of water, that's essential.

Just to clairify, this recipe makes 2 fat bombs (if I make more, I eat more) and they ARE fantastic!!

I think that sounds great. I would love to see menu plans as well as resources to help make informed decisions. So many do not know what to eat and avoid veggies and stick mainly to meat and fats. I find I get bored with my food options.( ham and eggs again!!) . Breakfast and lunch tend to be the same daily on work days. I…

I haven't tried this yet, but doesn't the coconut/butter, separate out and float on top?

I make an easy curry mayo/dip that is terrific with meatballs or chicken. Just add curry powder to mayo ( as much as you like). Yum Best if you let it rest for an hour or so before using.

Carl's Jr. will wrap any of their burgers in lettuce. The low carb thick burger is my fav. Glad we finally have them here.( Northern Alberta)

This sounds great!! Thanks. Sometimes the sweet, nutty coconut fat bombs are not what I want, great alternative!!

When I did Atkins 15 years ago, I wasn't concerned with any macro other than carbs. Now with keto, fat , carb and protein seems to be of major importance, especially fat.

Also, if you open your food diary we can get a better picture of what the issue may be.

For me, even if I have gone over on calories and REALLY need a little something, I will grab a pepperoni stick or a baby bell. Just something to fill the void. I find I'm always hungrey for the first week then I lose my appetite. Don't sweat it, let your body adjust and make sure you are getting enough water. Dehydration…

Funny , I have experienced the reverse with sleep, but then again I am in pre-menopause. I find since Keto, my night sweats/hot flashed are greatly reduced and I sleep much more sound.

I feel a general overall well being while doing keto diet. My mind is clearer and my body, well, I feel sexier ( not bloated) and better about myself, more positive. This alone is enough to get things going for me. tee hee.

I like the loss of cravings! -The loss of constant hunger ( high carb induced for me) -The constant feeling of bloat is gone - hot flashes and night sweats are reduced - better skin - better sleep/ creepy dreams - bacon is good!! Fat is my friend - discovering FAT BOMBS!! Just a few of my thoughts!!

Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice tea. Hot or cold on ice. Yum. One of my favs as well as regular orange peko tea with a little cream or 1/2 n 1/2. Perfect end to any meal.

I make 2 at a time or I go overboard. 1 tbsp coconut oil 1 tbsp almond butter 1 tbsp fine unsweetened coconut 3-5 drops vanilla cream stevia @ 135 cal each with 1 net carb, 13g fat and 3g protein.

I'm going to log what I eat but I'm also going to eat what I want and if that includes carb laiden treats, so be it. Back on track the days that follow, but no cheating on my food log. I will own it!

I guess, in response to your question, the only way to know is to experiment with it. I would assume that if you are staying under or at 20g then technically it should not kick you out of ketosis.

I would have trouble with carb cravings through out the day if I started it with sugar. Try an alternative sweetener. I like flavored stevia drops. Vanilla with heavy cream is almost like a vanilla capp!

I was having a bit of an off day last week. Turns out it was PMS, however, my co-worker (who is vegetarian) says to me, maybe you need to eat some carbs. REALLY? Since when is bread the answer? I'm starting to suggest to her she might need more protein, Moo!!!

My favorite is to put in 2 frozen chicken breasts and sprinkle with taco seasoning (watch for added sugar) and top with 1 cup salsa. delish!! I have also lately just added salt and pepper and when I get home top the breasts with bacon bits, sour cream, cheddar and green onion. put in oven to melt the cheddar! Yum
