I have noticed the same thing. It's interesting. Yes, you would not expect it here. You come here with maybe the belief that most everyone here has, like a lot of us, struggled with their weight at some point and therefore they should be understanding, supportive. Then you see a pic of a person with a rockin bod and 0…

Why do you WANT to stay at 1200??
-
For me, eating breakfast is NOT a preference, it IS a necessity. I will get a migraine if I do not eat. And I have noticed that since I'm watching my cals and working out I am now hungrier in the mornings than I used to be. I cannot skip meals, period. To each their own.

From what I understand, the majority only enter actual exercise calories.

1200 is not enough calories for really any adult. Go to tools and figure what your BMR is supposed to be. I'm 5'7", now weighing 212, work out cardio/strength training 3-4 times a week for 45 minutes-60 minutes. I have my calories at 1700 after just upping them by 200. It helped me to begin losing weight again and I'm…

I want to switch from evening work outs to morning work outs also!! But lately sleeping feels soooo good. Yesterday I worked out in the morning though, as I had some extra time, and man I was starving all day. That was an interesting twist.

"You take your 'I' with you everywhere you go" I got this from a man in the community who is mentoring one of the at risk youth I supervise.

I have been guilty of telling people not to weigh in every day. But right now I am obsessed with it. It seems vital to me that I know on a daily basis what my body is doing. This week, it is consistently losing .2 or .3 per day so I know that what I'm doing is working. Maybe you can try starting at every other day and work…

I once read that if you drink cold water, your body has to heat it up to use it, thus using calories to heat it up. Also drinking water helps your body to shed any water it is retaining from water retention due to salt intake. Personally for me, too much diet cola causes my hands to swell. I have to assume it probably…

At first MFP had me eating below BMR. I lost five pounds right away, then slowed down to a stop. I increased 200 cals per day putting me just over BMR and bam, it's falling off again. I try to make sure to get a good amount of protein in as well.

She said she is nosy. LOVE IT! bwaahhhhaaaahaaa. Sure, add me.

^ hugs trees < has back pain and needs a nap v is probably sneaking in some ice cream dammit

I have all the gains/losses recorded at home. I probably weigh in 5/7 days a week. I only report the losses on MFP if it is lower than the last time I reported on MFP. If I have a streak of gaining I just leave MFP alone and try to fix my issue.

I am a Probation Officer for juveniles who decide that rules don't apply to them. I am able to pack my lunch 99% of the time, and snacks. But some days the snacks go by the wayside because I'm stuck in Court or driving to 8 schools to check on the little angels. Activity levels vary. If I do home visits, I'm in and out of…

Isn't MFP like a bible now? We were driving to Kentucky and my hubby already declared we were eating at Chipotle. So I went to the Chipotle website and built my burrito repeatedly until the cals were acceptable. Then I put it in MFP. Amazing how much the sodium changed when I left off the salsas.

Funny I just mentioned this to hubby at the grocery today. With the Special K protein bars that have chocolate, Fiber One bars that have chocolate, Skinny Cow treats - all scattered about my intake, I don't even miss regular cookies and ice cream. I like the Yoplait Frozen Smoothies Choc/Banana, just like chocolate…

Two weeks here also!! I've been actively working on this since January and here I sit at 6 pounds. I hired a personal trainer that I meet with once a month who designs my work out plan. She had me put my cals at 1500. I'm just so confused and lost.
-
I track my sodium because my hands have tendency to swell and I believe I have noticed a link since I've started paying attention :) It's really hard to stay under because I still eat processed foods. But I try.
-
McDonald's Grilled Chicken Snack Wrap, no sauce. Good protein :)
-
Looks like you have come a long way though!! I know it's frustrating, I miss ice cream, cake, pizza. But I'm not giving up. It sounds like you do have some motivation (new clothes are fun) so I hope this slump doesn't last long. Hang in there!

I'll accept any of you, I haven't been on here long either, As you can see by my weight loss ticker :)

I've been doing yogurt and Weight Watchers string cheese some times. A protein bar is also good.

You allow yourself to grieve that loss. Put one foot in front of the other each day and keep going. Use exercise as a stress reliever, a distraction. You learn what was wrong so you know what is right when you find it. Yoplait makes a chocolate banana smoothie in the frozen section of the grocery. I have not yet looked at…

My checklist before I leave for work in the morning is NOW: phone, water, purse, lunch, gym clothes. I turned down CHEESEBURGER for dinner the other night because of the fat content and calories eventhough I had the calories to spare just so I could be under my calories. I have a goal for how many miles I want to go on the…

I don't gum, or I wouldn't a bite of cake. But a glass of milk, yes. In general yes I do. One day I splurged because we went out though and I didn't even try to log it lol.

I get my candles from Yankee Candle and they also discontinued my fave - Caramel something. Lotion I LOVE is BBW's Japanese Maple Blossom. I also wear that perfume though.

In 2005 I was doing WW and going to the gym, using the bicycle/treadmill for cardio and the machines for strength training. I lost 50 pounds. SO I'm doing that same routine again as far as exercise goes.
-
I once lost a bale of hay but then I re-baled it straw by straw. So now I'm trying again and just started, so I've lost a guinea pig. It's ok, it stank anyway.

I'm 5'7, weigh 219 and wear a size 14/16 dress pant. My jeans are 16's tight, should go up but I refuse. My shirts are XL due to "the girls" and my upper arms. Last time I lost a ton I got down to 165 and a size 10 with a M top.

I wish I had joined three weeks ago then, before we cleaned out those two closets.
