  • I am doing W1D2 tonight. I struggled with the first day on Monday. I'm just seeing where this takes me . . .
  • You can add me. Heck, you have had such success you might be an inspiration to me!
  • Leslie Sansone has Walk Away the Pounds in various mileage. You can find her on Youtube also.
  • To answer your question about heavier people burning more calories, it's yes they do. Also when someone starts getting into better shape, their heart rate does not go up as much so they do not burn as many calories. Mine changed quite a bit when I got under 200 pounds.
  • My first thought would be to look at protein for one thing. You may not be getting the protein your body needs because you are eating a lot of smoothies, strength training three days a week and eating at low calories.
  • Wow. She's not a person who has lost minimal weight, she's obviously put in some effots. I'm glad other people are being supportive and offering up USEFUL advice. You have offered nothing productive here except to try to cut her down. I read her original post and did not see it in this way at all. Some of us do have…
  • I'm currently in the middle of Assassin's Creed 2. Assassin's Creed 1, was so-so, we returned it and got 2, I'm addicted. I'm also in the middle of Walking Dead, it's kinda boring I think, but I'm more of a Saint's Row / Crackdown kinda woman I guess. We just preordered Bioshock 3 and the other Walking Dead :)))) I love,…
  • How long have you been working out? I would consider this a rest period, do the walking. Bodies need recovery periods. Watch what you eat and you should be fine.
  • Aspartame causes migraines. And other issues that I'm sure I"m unaware of. I don't like this idea either.
  • Burning 1000 calories per hour??? That seems rather high and if it is correct then you aren't eating enough to refuel your body.
  • A downward trend is all we are looking for baby!
  • I would be interested.
  • This is a fave at our house: One pound of beef tips One packet of Lipton Beefy Onion Soup mix One box of beef broth or today I used beef stock for the first time. Add water if desired. Cook that all day. When I get home I use the broth in place of water and I make rice, and steamed broccoli. Layer it all on a plate, rice,…
  • Youtube has a ton of workout routines. Get some dumbells and have at it!
  • Great story and it's awesome that you are so accepting of where you are right now. I needed to hear this, I'm struggling with where I am right now when only a couple of months ago I was completely fine with where I was. You are a great inspiration!!
  • Well, I only looked at today in your diary. You had 1596 cals. For a man, that seems pretty low. Especially for such a high burn in exercise like you had. If you do that consistently, your body is going to stall out. Have you figured your BMR and TDEE??
  • I know you can find Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred on Youtube, each level. I watched one. Just search it.
  • I never calculate my calories that I burn at work. I thought that was figured into the TDEE by the activity level chosen when inputting the info.
  • I have had more success at a gym than I did at Curves. I liked it, but did not get the results I had hoped for. Plus my current gym membership is cheaper than Curves was.

  • I'm so sorry for anyone going through this because I've been there/done that. The only thing that ever worked for me was birth control pills. If I was not on them, I hurt to an unbelievable degree. I was on Vicodin and that was not working at the end. I almost have to laugh at women who suggest "try a heating pad" because…
  • REALLY???? She has twins. I don't think your statement is very supportive or helpful. I don't have children and even I empathize with her dilemma. OP - maybe try some B12 supplements or B complex supplements to help support your energy.

  • I am at 14 out of 60!! Woo hoo!!!
  • 41 and happier than I was when I was younger!!
  • I am in the same boat you are. And my frustration is affecting my willpower. We must persist!
  • BMI does not take into account muscle. It's crap.

  • I have seen people who say MFP overestimates calories burned. But there have been a number of times that my HRM says I burned quite a bit more calories than MFP estimated. I go strictly by my HRM and would be lost w/o it.
  • When I would go to the gym after work, I was watching the clock for it to be over so I could go home. Now that I go in the morning, I watch the clock thinking "I can still do this and this before I have to leave." It's a change of mindset for me. I think I am burning more calories now as well.
  • I am all caught up now!! 10 minutes of planks as of this morning!! I can't believe it
  • I used to go to McDonald's on Friday's and grab breakfast on the way to work. A large Coke, a sausage/egg McMuffin and three chocolate chip cookies. I hit the vending machine almost every afternoon for cookies or candy. I also would have two Reese Cups or some quantity of chocolate every night before bed.
  • 7.5/60. I know, I know - half?? They were kicking my butt this morning after my 45 min of cardio.
