Maybe look at some old pics of yourself to jar your brain into reality that if you do not motivate yourself to keep moving forward there is nowhere else to go but backward . . .

You can put it under cardio and "add my own workout" - name it whatever you want, enter the time and calories burnt. It will not figure the calories for you this way. It's best if you have a heart rate monitor that tells you how many calories you burn. You could use a calorie calculator from any number of websites to…

Repeat what they said. I am focused on my breathing to hopefully be able to increase my time.

That was insensitive of your sister. I know that feeling, you should be proud of yourself!!!

So far so good - 2/60!! I think I can, I think I can.

Yes!! This will finally address my roundness in the belly!! I've been working on them this month. I can do three so far lol then I quit.

I understand, I battle the two pound issue all the time. Down, up. Then down lower, then up again. There are so many factors that come into play. Are you drinking enough water to flush the sodium out of your system? Have you been strength training? Because muscles hold water to repair themselves and this can add weight. I…

I'm voting for Mitt. Why? Because he is not Obama!!

Mine was a picture with hubby in February when I weighed 221 pounds - my highest ever. I looked at that picture and thought "OMG I'm a fat person." I had a double chin. My upper arm was huge. I also had noticed that when I was driving I could feel rolls of skin touching the insides of my arms. I hated it. That, and the…

If you open your diary people can help you more. I just started eating more of my exercise cals because the scale was not moving for me and whaddaya know - I'm at a new low today! I was not netting enough calories after exercise and my body was not losing weight. How many calories are you eating? How many calories are you…

I'm over 150 days in a row now :) I can't really remember how many days it has told me I've logged on. Add if you'd like.

Under Cardio there is a choice for Strength Training. I use that. Yes, I want my credit!

Wow there are big, big changes going on for so many of you!! It's amazing. I can't seem to figure out how to post mine but it's on my profile.

I've discovered that working out regularly and drinking water religiously has made a big difference in my migraines. I get one every three weeks now instead of a couple each week. I've not tried the gluten thing. I do know that pecans, chocolate covered peanuts, and sourdough bread are some of my triggers. Magnesium (B2)…

Xbox kicks *kitten*. It's great that you have to come to the realization that it will make you fat if you let it. We used to make hot pretzels with cheese dip late on Fri/Sat night and play. I have had a whole change in mindset since I joined MFP. I am trying new foods that I would have never tried before. And I now look…

Going two miles in 30 minutes is not bad - I walked 3 miles in an hour last weekend. Have you mentioned it to your doctor? Maybe you have allergies??
-
You can add me :) I am all into this now!! Obsessed almost lol
-
I'm kind of a picky eater. I stick with strawberries, blueberries, pineapple and banana in any combination as long as it has the strawberry in it.
-
Welcome! Hope you find MFP very usual, as I have.

 Sure hit me up. And good luck with your progress

I'm sorry you are feeling discouraged. We have all been there. Like someone else said, I was never the fat girl in school. A size 6 all through high school living on McDonald's, Hostess and Lil Debbie. Senior yr I was in a terrible car accident which left me with two broken legs. It took three years and multiple surgeries,…

I don't think you are alone, so don't get discouraged!! I just hit 25 pounds, and I can still wear some of the same pants as before. People I work with are just now starting to comment. I have at least 20-30 more to go. Also, if you do strength training in addition to your cardio it will help to reshape your body and build…

I'm another one. 41, married almost 13 years, no kids, four dogs :) Hubby said if something ever happened to him I would be the lady with all the dogs. We have nieces/nephews we can get whenever we want :) I get so tired of hearing about soccer games in the lunchroom at work. ugh.
