You aren't eating enough. Depending on the intensity of your workouts you'll be using 400-600 cals per workout. Based on your H/W you probably should be at 1600 cals at least just for your BMR. Try this out. http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html edit - I plugged in your numbers and your TDEE with a…

I love the first mile! I usually feel fresh and am excited to get moving. The hardest part for me is probably at about mile 2 or 3 when I realize I've pushed it a little too hard and am breathing a little too hard and need to back it off a little. I never want to but I know it's the right thing to do if I want to keep…

If you're meticulous about logging every bit of food that crosses your lips I'd be just as meticulous about logging your exercise .. as one other poster said .. your body counts it.

working any muscle naturally grows that muscle .. sooo doing crunches will give you a bigger belly if you are not combining it with the previously mentioned caloric deficit.

you definitely need to leave a day in between strength training workouts if you are working the same muscles. The muscles need time to repair themselves. If the workouts were varied, say upper body one day and lower the next you'd be fine but tearing up the same muscles 2 days in a row would be counterproductive and could…

Finished round 1 a year ago and dropped 23 pounds and felt great ... going through round two currently and am seeing a nice change to my overall body shape and tone .. definitely a fan.

90 cal fiber one brownies are pretty tasty but wont fill you up .. your best bet would be veggies that don't require refrigeration. Fruits tend to be higher in calories but are also a solid choice.

A few things, and these are just my opinions. 1 - this is probably not the best place to look for an answer to the problem. A professional counselor would be of a lot more help to you and many have free consultations. It sounds like you have some issues to work through. 2 - there's probably more going on with him than…

original poast would have bin much better if you'd deliverately misspelt some words and stuffs ..... ;)

@Kimo .. 29 Good Luck!

I split them up for just this reason .. one in the morning and one in the evening .. that way you can hit both with intensity.

I've been doubling up Cardio X on the strength days for the last couple weeks without issue. As the other guys said, just make sure you're upping your calories on those days to compensate. If it feels like too much and you still want some extra work maybe try walking/jogging or some Yoga.

cycling is great exercise as long as it doesn't put added strain on that calf .. swimming is also a great burner if the availability is there.

Don't forget, this is a marathon, not a sprint. There are some great suggestions in this thread, try them out, see which works best for you but don't get disheartened.

Soreness is quite different from the pain you're describing, I'd see a physical therapist / sports medicine specialist.

Also check your shoes, they may not be the right ones for you. I had the same issue with my calves and it was because I went to a sporting goods store and bought a popular brand instead of going to a running specialty store. Once I fixed the shoe problem my calf issues went away. Amazing what the right tools can do.

young or old, people eat because they are bored quite frequently. The solution is pretty simple. If you find yourself reaching for that snack try picking up a book, painting a picture, going outside for a walk .. anything but eating. Hell you may find out that you really enjoy something you never knew you would. If you're…
