listen to your body, it will tell you what is too much, but you need rest. 175 is a really high sustained heart rate, 199 is almost dangerous. P90X = overall body toning, strengthening Insanity = intense cardio burn Not to oversimplify but basically that's it. I lost 23 pounds doing P90X the first time and it changed my body.

I know others have said it but with the amount of exercise you are doing you are basically starving your body so it is saving up all the nutrients it can. You should have AT LEAST a NET of 1200 calories a day. Meaning if you burn say 500 calories exercising you should be eating at least 1700 calories that day. It's as…

I finished 1 round of P90X and dropped from 185 to 163. I'm about 65% throught round 2 and am at 156 and am getting leaner by the day (I'm 5'7' so my goal is a strong 150) .. it you follow the program and don't make excuses for yourself it's an amazing tool.

just something to consider .. when my wife's cycle arrives she'll put on 3-5 pounds quickly and it comes right back off when it's passed .. don't know if that may be a factor but I've seen it happen.

invest in a body fat caliper .. much more accurate and generally only costs 10-15 bucks.

seeing a PT right now for a similar issue, although not exactly the same .. bottom line for almost all tendonitis .. Ice and Rest, that's about all you can do unfortunately.

The most appropriate responses I think. I also agree with the poster who mentioned environment and upbringing. People are conditioned to think 1 thing is "right" and another is not. People just need to brush up on their manners every now and again ... tactfulness is a lost art.
