totally! I had a hard time getting up to 1200 when I switched to clean eating because I was eating so much. That being said, my body did adapt and I eventually upped my cals so I could be more flexible with my diet. You might not be getting enough potassium... I may have taken a peek at your diary and it seems as though there's not many whole food in there. (I hate to have my diet critiqued, so I was hesitant to post this...) Maybe up your protein and veggie intake to help yourself rebuild the muscle and avoid soreness. :)

I do vinyasa as well. usually about 150 cals per hour for me with my HRM... The website way overestimates for me!

Biologist here. Confirming the above food scientist. :) This is why you can eat a crap ton of cals on a raw diet and lose weight. The cals cannot be utilized. The invention of flame is why we evolved our big calorie consuming brains! This girl is smart. Like me. :)

get more unrefined sugars and complex carbs in your diet. throw out the chips and crackers, eat a potato with salt and pepper or a sweet potato with stevia and cinnamon make oven fries eat air popped popcorn eat oatmeal! eat squash, it's in season! Get those carbs, but eat the healthy ones! :)

I lost a good 30 lbs without exercising at all. I was super flabby though (skinny fat) and felt hungry sometimes. I would say that if you can fit it in, exercise will make your journey more pleasurable. But, it can be done!

I love my foreman grill... :) I marinade in teriyaki or baslalmic and olive oil or just sprinkle with different seasonings, greek, hickory, salt and pepper, adobo, ect... or put salsa on it, or pesto sauce... serve with the vast array of veggies and squash and salads there is and I never get bored! :)
