whining about people whining seems to be counterproductive.

forcing food down is a bad idea in the long run. it can cause a lapse in your hunger mechanisms, which could lead to icky things down the line. eat when you're hungry and your body will adjust within a month or so!

Enjoying my singleness!

A girlfriend who loves me, supports me, is smart and engaging, is rich and is great in bed... ;)

I like eating peanut butter before bed. It's one of the highest calorie things I eat all day, but I just like to go to bed feeling satiated.
-
Steamed broccoli with pesto... I pretty much go to target and raid the frozen veggie section. I skip peas and missed veggies though, cuz that's gross. Also, roasted brussel sprouts coated in olive oil is devine!!!

I used to lift and eat whatever I wanted. Lost 70 lbs, but in order to lose that last 30, I had to tighten up my diet quite a bit.

Right here! Mother of two. :)

Your body is in starvation mode. Eating at your BMR is for not moving around at all... Netting that little will keep you in starvation mode and you won't lose. You're young, don't ruin your metabolism! I bet you could even lose at 1500... up your cals gradually so you don't gain.

I'm doing 1200 and not much cardio and I don't count my 4x weekly weight lifting. So, I struggle! Tips would be to keep your protein and fiber way up and your carbs down as much as possible. I'm here for ya!

I threw away my fat clothes and bought nothing but skinny clothes. I am broke. I have no choice.

How do you not eat half the jar of peanut butter? Because sometimes. I eat half the jar.

music, changing up your routine or just taking that time to think about what you want. hey, it's you time!!! It's like being at the spa! What what... :)

maybe bake an apple with some cinnamon? A dessert smoothie? My fave though is 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt 1 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tsp (or so) powdered stevia extract 70 cals or so!! mix the cocoa powder with a small amount of yogurt at first to avoid lumps then dump it all in and enjoy!

bodybuilding.com rocks!

too much, like over 1.5 g per lb of lean body mass would potentially damage your kidneys or lead to some major constipation.

Icky, unhealthy, highly processed, highly preserved foods... Plus, you still have to provide your own veggies, which are a huge part of the diet. Expensive and not worth it. I wound up selling my food on ebay.

There is a girl at my gym who definitely has an eating disorder. She looks like a holocaust victim and I'm honestly afraid she's going to die when she works out. I don't talk about her, but I feel like I should talk to the gym staff because I don't know if it's safe. And then if they say something to her, will they get…

You have a beautiful oval face, you could carry short hair well. I would go to an amazing (expensive!), young, beautiful talented stylist and let her chop it all off. Then donate. You could make like four wigs! xoxo

It's hard to relearn what to eat... I was in your boat years ago and I've lost over 100 lbs since then. I didn't get to where I am overnight nor do I eat perfectly. My goals change and many a day I say screw it and eat what I want. You should try.... Eating your main meals with whole foods Like a previous poster said, a…

Ha, I think the only thing to take away from this thread is that there is no consensus on bulking/ cutting. I have been lifting for a good 7 years or so and would advise to start simple and add a muscle base before you do anything else. See how it feels and go from there. Start lifting now. I recommend bodybuilding.com to…

I use the tabata method, which is shorter intervals... I don't think there's a wrong way to do it though, just as long as you're really giving it your all! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_interval_training#Tabata_method
