start phasing it out of your diet until you are drinking water or fresh fruit juices only. Its much easier than going cold turkey.

i just put in homemade juice of ......., and it gives me the calories, or else i google it to find the calories i need.

I juice daily. There are alot of expensive brands out there but i have a cheap little black and decker. I'm pretty happy with it. I guess it depends on how much you wanna spend. I've heard breville and champions are great ones but are costly.

Measure yourself! You may not be losing lbs but inches instead. I lost 30lbs my first month, and then NOTHING in february. Now the past two weeks i've dropped 6lbs. It takes your body awhile to adjust to something new. Make sure you eat your calories :) Rose

I just keep it simple, lots of fruit juices, fruit and salads. I know there are alot of raw recipes out there, but right now, keeping it simply fruits and veggies works for me. I'm not bored with it yet :)

Put away the scale for the first month and measure yourself. You should be losing inches.

i lost 30 my first month. Lost nothing in feb so i joined mfp to help. So far, i've only lost 3lbs. My plan keeps telling me in 5 weeks i will weigh 180 but i'm not dropping, so idk what i'm doing wrong.

RAW vegan here. I switched my diet because i saw so many healthy looking raw vegan fruitiarians. I'm 53 and feel the best i ever have. Do i slip up, sure i do, but i stick to my diet the best I can. I'm losing weight and feeling great!

80/10/10 is a book by dr douglas graham. It promotes a fruitiarian lifestyle. I eat 90% raw and feel wonderful and have lost 30lbs since jan 3.

I think it depends on what you are eating. I started a raw vegan diet in january and feel the best i ever have in my life ;) I'm 53 and getting healthier and thinner :)

I would like to be around 120-130. I'm currently at 190 so i have a ways to go yet :)
