I think you're right. I probably eat an average of 5 fruit servings a day

Jordy, I'd definitely try a modified version of paleo if it intrigues you, add in lentils and whatever else beans.

fun partner wod today ...did it with my mom! she's a beast (competed at the games twice now!) 1. deadlift 175 hold while the other person rows 1000m. Switch who's doing what until the 1000m is rowed. (the deadlift hold was HARD!) 2. handstand walk 20m while the other person assists to keep your legs up. 3. one person…

I basically follow the paleo diet...nothing processed, no added sugar, no grains, etc etc.. however, I have added peanut butter, milk, and butter back into my diet...and chocolate every once in a while :) btw, I do know a few vegetarians and vegans who do paleo and just dont eat the meat.

and this...make sure your butt is going below your knee. *kitten* to grass!

as long as your weight is in your heels the whole time and you keep your chest as upright as possible, you're probably not doing anything wrong. I primarily feel it in my quads as well. don't give up on the squats...squating is like breathing! so good for you

I dont have a program for it, but the fact that you *can* get double unders, just not fast, means that you need to do them during your wods instead of scaling. It's the only way to get better, and if it slows your time down, oh well, it's motivation to get better at the DU and speed your time up the next time you try the…

Mo, don't ever let singles be a substitution for doubles...I dont care if you do 5 singles per 1 double...it's not going to help you or mimic the work being done. Instead, do barbell hop overs. 1 for 1. As fast as you can. Also, practice your tuck jumps. I know some people who got really good at doing a bunch of tuck jumps…

Working on ab moves isn't going to help you... there is already plenty of muscle there, you just need to get rid of the fat for it to sow thru. Do that by eating clean. You can try to build that muscle all day long but if there's a thick layer of fat over them, no one will see them

yesterday's t-giving chipper 10 HSPU 20 Pistols 30 Burpees 40 Ball Slams 20/14 50 Pullups 60 Box Jumps 24/20 70 Pushups 80 Situps 90 Double Unders 100 Air Squats I RXed everything except used a smallish band for the pullups...I've got some pullups, but not that many! Also Did the HSPU and Pistols unbroken! Happy about…

You can't spot reduce fat, so all the situps in the world aren't going to help with it. Eat clean; abs are made in the kitchen

Omg that happened to me last night at a restaurant

There's only one filthy fifty. Can I ask why 50? You're options open way up if you lower the rep scheme. Also if you have 50 of each movement, it will most likely be looong workouts not suitable for a lunch hour. Here are some things you can do with just your body or dumbells: Air squat Pushups Sit ups Handstand pushups If…

I wouldn't rely on a HRM, on me and others I've known, they've proven to be really inaccurate. For me, at 114 lbs, I estimate that I burn 8-10 cal per minute when I'm working at a sprint pace...sprint pace being key...I'm obviously not burning that much during a warm up, OLY work or strength work... For the purposes of…

Moo...had you warmed up to the 105# that day? In other words...start at 75, then 85, then 95, then 100, then 105, etc. Maybe you did. If you didn't, that's your answer. I can't get my higher lifts if I haven't warmed up to that weight in a really slow fashion. I personally wouldn't take a week off.
