YES, it does work!! I had surgery 11/5/12 and have lost 55 pounds so far...sticking to plan, walking 5 miles a day and loving life! Best thing I EVER did!!!!

I have iphone and I use my scanner all the time! Android has it as well, I just changed phones.

If you're getting your protein from food alone this soon, you are doing GREAT!! I am 10 weeks out today and don't hardly get that much from my foods, I still do the shakes but I like them so it's all good. :) Sounds like you're doing good. You can customize the settings for your needs.

For me and I am only 2 + months out lol....but my nutritionist told me not to worry about how many calories I am having to just worry about my protein and liquid intake...SO I have no clue... :)

I stopped using my cpap when I had my surgery. I sleep so much better now without it. I use to only sleep 2 to 3 hours maybe...now I sleep all night long very sound and wake up feeling great. NO one told me not to use it...but I didn't like wearing it before surgery either but I did.

My doctor started me on a prescription for acid reflux 5 days prior to surgery and I have to take it for six months after surgery. I think it must be helping me as I don't have any trouble with it. You may want to ask your doctor to prescribe something for you.

I gained 10 pounds while in the hospital as well...it's NORMAL!!!!! It's from all the IV fluids they pump into you. Hang in there it will fall off pretty fast!! mine was off the next week. Sorry you had bleeding but glad you are doing well now.

Depends on what all your doctor wants you to do. Mine had me do a upper GI, a phyco visit, and a dietitian visit. Then they sent it off to insurance for approval once they got all the results back. But I think it depends on your doctor what he wants.

I had my sleeve on Nov. 5th, I too was scared but it was so easy!! I had no pain from the surgery just trapped air pain, which goes away. It's a life style change and you need to be ready for it, and follow your doctors orders to a T!!!!! I already know it's the best thing that I have EVER done for ME!!!!

I am having the Verticle Sleeve Gastrectomy, my doctor recommended it even over the bypass, said it gives the same results as the bypass but you don't bypass anything!!
