A week old.

I agree, we're more or less encouraging them to eat less when we know it's not ideal if done constantly. We're not really being a supportive friend if we're commending them on their lack of calorie intake once they complete their diaries. Let them know you're concerned for them but also careful not to be too judgmental.…

"You have failed only when you quit trying. Until then, you're still in the act of progression. So, never quit trying and you'll never be a failure. " - A quote I found on a MFP's profile who is a good friend of mine.

Given your health history, really is it worth it? If you can eat up to your cal intake then good on ya. Alot of people end up doing what they want to do anyway, lets hope for your sake you choose a more healthier option.

lol, don't you just HATE that?

Looks so delicious, thanks for sharing the recipe!

Am loving Kellogs All Bran at the moment, just add skim milk and voila! Keeps your bowels moving if you have trouble in that area. They say to try it out for 7 days and you'll notice a difference in the way your tummy feels etc. Am only on Day 4, so far so good. Only 206 cals for me with 200mls of skim milk. Of course if…

Bread, potatoes and pasta! Feel better for it too.

Went out for an hour or so with a friend caching, found 4. Would've been 5 but that one was too exposed to public so probably an early morning find I think. So cold tonight in Ashburton. Glad to be home in the warmth!

Hehe yes but haven't been out for a few weeks! Need to get back into it, real soon!

Am happy to be able to wear my engagement rings! Was going to get them re-sized earlier this year before starting MFP but don't need to now! Yay!

I'm 'Sexy and I know it'!

Must tell my partner about those choccies!

Ouch, lol.

Perhaps take your own iPod so that you're not having to listen to someone else?

You'll find fun workout exercises in your own home on YouTube, they have loads of them.

That was my starting weight when I found out about MFP and I would not have survived on that many calories a day! In saying that, being a type 2 diabetic, I would need to eat enough throughout the day to keep my blood glucose levels consistent otherwise my BGL's could drop dangerously low, especially if I were to consume…

I mean uploading a pic to a thread just to clarify. Thanks!

I like to have Easy Eggs Benedict, 2 poached eggs with a quick sauce consisting of 2 tbsp of lite mayonnaise, 1 tsp dijon mustard and a few drops of squeezed lemon, mix together and pour over eggs on wholegrain toast or bread. Add a bit of sliced ham or smoked salmon, whatever you prefer. Although this is once a week for…

Earthquake that hit Christchurch New Zealand Feb 22nd, 2011. Lost my house and job, began stress eating due to financial worries etc.

I visit the gym (Curves) at least 3 to 4 times a week and on the days I'm not at the Gym, I'm out for a brisk/mod pace walk for up to an hour or so as I love it.

Ok just checked and I'm actually on 1290 cals a day. I was initially on 1320 when I first started on MFP. Probably reduced perhaps because I've lost a few kgs? *shrug* Gosh, I do need to cut back on my salt intake! Not good for someone with hypertension.
-
Not sure if I have mine open for public viewing, you're most welcome to take a gander! I do like the idea of looking at fellow MFP members' diaries to check out some foods that would be suitable for me and within my calorie intake. I'm on 1320 cals per day. It's been great so far. What I do like about MFP is that even if…

I like the Weight Watcher's choc chip biscuits, only 66 cals for two! I have them with a nice hot cup of tea or coffee an hour or two after dinner.

Partner is at work tonight so it's a one meal deal. Having dansk bacon (3% fat) and half the calories @ 84 grams, 2 medium size grilled tomatoes, 2 scrambled eggs done in the microwave, about 200 grams of fresh asparagus steamed. Looking forward to it, haven't had bacon in aaaaaages!

Wow, since starting MFP I've been excited about cooking healthy meals for me and my partner. Not sure if I'm a wee bit OCD about weighing and scanning food stuffs when it comes to putting meals together, lol. There are never any leftovers or food wasted and I love it! Ok, the other night I cooked up a nice healthy (well,…

Oh and feel free to add me! :)

Hi all, nice to meet others from around Aotearoa. My profile says alot about me so take a gander if you wish. Am loving MFP big time, have lost 8 kgs so far, 4 kg since being a member of MFP. Best thing about MFP is still being able to enjoy the foods you love only in moderation. My biggest weakness was portion sizes. My…
