Every third day I substituted a cardio exercise for my shred workout. Usually it was speed walking behind my double stroller. I also lowered my caloric intake to the 1200-1300 range. I wasn't very strict about it, the main thing was just to get it down. I also ate a LOT of protein, eggs especially. And I don't drink soda…

I did what I had read Jillian recommended which was 2 days of the shred, one day cardio, 2 days of the shred, one day cardio, rest day. It takes more like 45 days that way.

Thanks for all positive feedback! I started 30DS and did it for a week, then quit for about a month. I picked it up again from the beginning and did what i read Jillian recommends (two days Shred, one day cardio, two days shred, one day cardio, one day rest) I also did a 1300 calorie diet and I have two little boys (so…
