  • I was going to mention quinoa too, but barley is really good! Get it from the bulk section at the store so you can try it because it's much cheaper than buying a whole box before you know if you like it.

  • Another good thing to think about...for every 15 minutes of exercise you do, you should be drinking 8oz of water. This helps your body recover quicker. Also, if you weigh less after your workout, it's because you're dehydrated. I'm a personal trainer and that is what I recommend to my clients.
