oh blah...stayed the same. PMS-ing hardcore, no motivation to workout, couldn't stop shoveling the food in! Planning on losing 2+lbs for next week though! I know I can do it!

I'm going back to school for nutrition and that advice is crap. Don't waste your time with her again!

last week: 209 this week: 207 After a slow start with all the crazy things going on in my life the last couple weeks, I took time for ME this week and stepped up to the plate...or stepped AWAY from the plate! haha I am hoping to see Onederland before I take my trip to visit my friend in Georigia the first week in March!…

It definitely might be the sodium, but as long as you give yourself a good 2.5 hours to digest before you go to bed, night eating isn't terrible.

Was so busy getting back into the groove after a week of nannying a 14 and 10 yr old a a dog for a week...can you say "chauffeur"!? haha I was definitely on track with eating this week, which was really encouraging!! BUT I wasn't as dedicated to my workouts...kept saying I was too busy. I got 2 legit workouts in, but that…

I'm 5-4, 208lbs and I burn between 650-750 cals depending on how hard I work :)

I was worried for this week. I'm spending the week staying with a family friend's kids and now I know the temptation of eating right when you have to make separate food for kids! I would much rather be eating the candy and quesadillas the kids get to eat! All you moms out there are seriously awesome for losing with all…

Lask week: 212.6 This week: 210.0 Now that I wasn't sick all week, I could really get my butt moving! I did great all week. The only bad thing was I had to go out for a work dinner last night ...to an authentic Mexican restaurant. I bet you could imagine how hard it was not to eat all the chips in the bowl! haha I had a…

I'm a Melissa from Minnesota too! I've been on the site for awhile so if you have any questions feel free to ask :)

I'm definitely not perfect at this either. Some days I have tons left over and some days I eat too much. I think the key is to have that balance somewhere. It keeps your body guessing. You could always add an extra snack on the days you burn quite a bit at the gym. It's best to get some type of protein within 30-60 min…

Way to go everyone! It looks like you're off to a great start!! CW: 212.6 ...disappointed it's not more, but my body needed some rest while fighting this bug. Hopefully I'm fully better this weekend so I can crank out some great workouts next week to make up!

I'm a little discouraged because I've been sick all week. Like I said before, it's hard to get motivated to exercise when you're hacking up a lung or going in and out of a fever :( Oh well, I did a good job at keeping my calories in check while I couldn't work out. So we'll see if that did anything, and I'm hoping I can…

Don't worry! Do the basics dvd a few times...you'll get it! EVERYONE is a fool their first time :)

I'm in...my friend who swears by it got it for me for Christmas!

I went organic in everything about 6 months ago and I feel a huge difference. My energy levels are so much higher than they were. I feel a difference when I'm at someone's house or out for dinner and it's not organic. I get more sluggish and sometimes headachy...just think of all the pesticides that are in the food that…

remember that they literally mean 8oz of water. an average "glass" is 16oz or more! so you might actually be somewhat on track :) I drink some water before I eat anything...even a snack. it works really well, but I also bought a Nalgene bottle and 64oz of water (which is the recommendation) is two water bottles full. If I…

I wouldn't suggest it. Your body needs all it's extra energy to heal itself. If you're working out with the same intensity you do when you're well (maybe a light walk on the treadmill or outside is ok), you're hindering your immune system. You'll end up being sick longer in the long run.

<3 this! I eliminated HFCS products from my diet (replaced it with natural sugar products) without changing much else and lost 15 lbs. Not to mention, I have so much more energy without all that modified and processed food in me!

It's interesting...all your daily veggies, fruits and stuff in pill form...I would think it's a good thing. I don't ever listen to wild claims though. If I would ever take it, I would do it just as an added benefit and definitely wouldn't take it as a miracle pill or anything like that. It might be worth listening to

Everyone is uncoordinated their first time! I have the dvds and go to classes, love it all!
-
Something really cool that hasn't been officially announced yet...Zumba just signed a partnership with Curves and in January they will begin to hold Curves Circuit with Zumba classes...it's the same Zumba you love that kicks your sweaty butt, but they're adding strength training to it to burn even more calories and up your…

You look fabulous! Totally different person, keep it up!

How's everyone doing? I had a pretty good week; between Curves and Zumba, I burned 3128 calories this week! I was really good on my food too...we'll see how this week goes. I'm taking a road trip to Chicago from Minneapolis for my company's convention. Road trips are NOT healthy lifestyle friendly, but I've planned most of…

I love tofu and eat it and tempeh pretty regularily! I'm always looking for good recipes to use because I always seem to cook it wrong :( Just an FYI though, Tofu is fine for older children and adults but there are a lot of studies out there that show soy and tofu are not good to feed babies and young children. Here are…
