This ^ Who cares?. Unless they are your family or close friends (who should believe you if you explain), I say you sod them. Don't let the haters make an impact on your life. We're all supportive here ♥

Self-Harm isn't actually what most people seem to think it is. It'd be really nice if people didn't stigmatise or label it (I repeat, I'm NOT an emo!) It's just a way of dealing with life in the same way people get angry, or cry in a corner, or talk to a psychologist, or smoke, or overeat, or take drugs. You're telling me…

I know. It's one of the many things that happen that people just don't know about or understand, but it still happens. I just think this thread is great because a few more people might understand Self-Harm and that makes the world a better place. Thanks for the support :) ♥

I appreciate this. There is a lot of stigma over self harm and I still haven't found the strength to tell anyone yet. But I like that you're trying to raise awareness about it. Perhaps it will be less stigmatised one day, then I can admit what I do. Thank you. I will try and find anything orange that I can. My headphones…

walkwalkwalkwalkwalkwalkwalkwalk. Running buggers my knees and shins :( Besides, walking exercises more parts of your body. Running does legs, walking (especially hills) improves your legs, bum and core (tummy) strength, and your arms if you swing 'em! I have a big hill next to my house. I walk up there as often as…

I'm 5'8", and I eat 1230 net to lose 2 pounds a week ;)

Aaahhhh, thankyou. So it can be good and bad... hmm. I don't really know how to increase my sodium without eating really fatty/ salty foods, which i hate (sweet tooth, me!). Maybe I'll just stick to what I'm doing.
-
I approve of this.

Ignoring sugar content is my thing. I'll stick to everything else, but sugar can go to &£*% as far as I'm concerned. It just depresses me. Ta for the post, very interesting stuff. Also - diagrams! :D No-one uses awesome diagrams anymore. I commend you, sir!

Yup, have a look at mine. I tend to eat less during day and more in the evening, and smaller things, too.

Polo mints, tic tacs or chewing gum are great for me to satisfy sugar cravings, and eating anything mint-y stops you feeling as hungry (honest). Otherwise, dark chocoalte is my guilt, or dried fruit, breadsticks, oatcakes etc.

Wow. Just... wow

I'm 5'8! My goal was 120 but I don't know if that's a little too low. I just really want to be skinny.

Haha, thst's brilliant! That might really help some people with their plateau. And good news for chocolate lovers like me :D

I'm a vegetarian but I eat fish. Without meat, fish is the main staple source of protein in my diet, apart from dairy products but I don't eat a lot of them, anyway. I think I lack protein most of the time.

Donuts. God I miss them. And toast with butter and nutella. And Galaxy and Haribo and chocolate milkshake and cheesestrings, and cheese paninis and bagels and pringles and ice cream and... Oh no, stop. This isn't fair.
-
Oh, I like this idea. I might try it :D

Thanks, guys for your opinions. It's really interesting to see how people work :D

Yeah I know what you mean. But if you graze, say, fruit and you log every piece you eat you're not really going to go over. And if you eat things from tins/packets or measure how much you eat and log it, how is that different from meals? It's like, one really spread out meal :)

Try and eat more fruit. No matter how much you eat it won't make you gain any weight and you will feel so much healthier. And it probably won't fill you up too much.

For me, I think it's a psychological thing. When I was kid my parents tried to be really really healthy ALL the time. They hardly ever let me have sweet or fatty things. But when I was older and I had my own money I could buy them all the time, so I craved what I had been deprived and ate them all the time. But that is…

I think the general rule is that if your Calorie Output exceeds your Calorie Input you will lose weight. So if you eat under during the week and over at the weekends (which is not necessarily a bad thing as it will increase your metabolism during the week) you will still lose weight. Just make sure you don't go over by a…
