  • Great thanks everyone, I'll check out butterfly chasers for sure!
  • yeah, I am in the process of getting testing done to figure out what's going on. I have been eating at a deficit for months and doing varied exercise 4-5 days a week. I will try weighing my food and see if that helps. I'm also dairy, gluten and mostly legume free and don't drink either. What is prancercise? lol
  • buy the running shoes. Running without them will just potentially cause injury and you will likely feel pain. Train properly from the beginning so that you can actually enjoy it and train the proper muscles. You will find that walking in the running shoes is nice too :)
  • Make sure you get someone to coach you or get a workout partner who knows how to lift properly. Doing a program is great, but make sure you are lifting safely so you don't hurt yourself. Flat shoes is a must as well for balance and stability. Reebok has great options. or just use your standard chucks!
  • If you have 8 weeks, you have more than enough time. Join a running club or get a training partner and do most runs outside. Having that person next to you tends to push you just a little bit harder.
