I actually agree with you. Those annoy me too. I don't get on here to make friends. I mainly just use the site to log calories and exercise. I rarely read the forums and usually only the ones I think might be helpful to me in my struggles to lose weight and get fit, but there are an overwhelming number of the "friends"…

I have a danskin one that's pretty good. it's comfortable, but also has a wire in there. I don't run, but do tae bo which is pretty high impact. and they stay down pretty well. I think one key factor is to make sure that you are buying high impact sports bras. They are going to have better support. Danskin usually can be…

Do you have children? Sometimes I think it's harder to get weight off in the tummy after babies. I have gotten smaller everywhere (lost 129 lbs to date), but my stomach is out of proportion with the rest of my body and it is frustrating so I totally get what you are saying. I had 2 c-sections and I think that makes it even…

I completely agree with this. I have not seen any of the negative comments (mostly because I rarely look at these posts at all), but I'm appalled that people do that. The whole point of this is to find support from others who are trying to achieve the same goals. I would never post something negative about a person's…

I think you have to allow yourself some "fun" meals. If I thought I could NEVER have pizza again in my life, it would depress me endlessly. Maybe once a week, you can have a night off from healthy eating, etc. but I'd limit it to the meal and not the entire evening. I don't know if you can count this as motivation or not,…

1. Country music 2. parents who do not let their children learn to be responsible by doing EVERYTHING for them and complaining to me when child does NOT succeed. (I'm a teacher) 3. My scales aren't moving fast enough. 4. Wal-Mart 5. Can Wal-Mart count as two....I really hate it? LOL

I like The FIRM workout which is designed FOR women. You would need 3, 5 and 8 lb. weights. You can buy their dvds in some stores, but the kits with the steps to use, etc. can only be purchased on their website now. It's www.firmdirect.com. I have the transFIRMer kit and it's great. I'm 40 years old and started doing it…

Sure....My 41st birthday is May 31st so losing 10 more pounds by then would be awesome....more would be even better. CW 200.4 GW 190.0 (by May 31) Total goal: 160 (I think)

a cutie. :) Did any of you know that oranges and apples have fat blockers so if you eat one of those first thing in the morning you have a built in fat blocker for the day? I learned that from the skinny pill diet I did in the late 90's.

You cannot know how true this is. I have recently lost 126lbs (still have 44 ish to go) and even now it's amazing the difference I see in the way I'm treated. From people chatting and being friendly at sporting events for my kid to men holding the door open, it shocks me more often than not and sometimes I can't believe…

I married a guy who was losing his hair 9 years ago.....still married to him and he has much less hair now.

And I have to exclude my own husband from my statement because he wisely told me when we were dating that I was the most attractive person he'd ever dated. Who could say if that is true? I've seen some, but not all. He gets points for trying.lol

I agree he sounds like a jerk. It might not have been his intent. Heaven knows men never say things the right way because they only think 3 minutes ahead of right now, but I would have been offended.

I say alternate. I have thought about running too, even though I've always joked that if you see me running you should call 911, but I'm stuck. I currently do zumba, taebo or the FIRM and all are good workouts, but the weight is just not coming off and I have about 45 lbs. to go. I think running will get your 10 lbs off…

I agree that we should keep it tasteful. Just because we are all adults on the site doesn't mean that we all want to have that blasted in our faces. If you want to show your goods, there are plenty of websites FOR that.
