  • Make an appointment and go to your doctor. There are an assortment of pills and supplements that may do you more harm than good if you don't know what the actual problem is.
  • I agree with ebkins7 with the strength training but if you don't know what you are doing it's best to get a certified trainer or you may injure yourself if you don't have the correct form.

  • Hello and welcome to MFP. One thing I would suggest is to not look at this as dieting but a lifestyle change. The word "diet" often makes people turn to drastic measures of exercising or turniing to some fad diet program which results in a person giving up in no time. Just do small changes at a time to your food choices…
  • Congrats on the weight loss. I can really see the difference in your face and arms. Your right it may not be easy but it's so worth it and good job on realizing it should be about a lifestyle change and that there are no quick fixes. I wish you continued success with the remainder of your weight loss.

  • Not sure if you should count this as a calorie burn since it's something you do regularly. I personally only count additional exercise and not stuff I do on a daily basis. If you want to know how much you've burned the best thing to do is get a heart rate monitor which will give you a more accurate amount.

  • Hello and welcome to MFP!! I've been a vegetarian for a few months now and enjoying it. • I'm still reprograming- I'm used to people looking at me and quickly looking away. Not staring or smiling or both... It's actually kind of creepy.. • First thing in the morning on an empty stomache is the best time to weigh yourself, preferably after you pee. The reason the scale changes later on in the day is because you ate and that food is still in your body. You should try to keep it to no more than once a week on the same day. If you weigh yourself everyday you…

  • Thank you very much for sharing your secret with us. I really enjoyed your posts and you were so right about exercise and how people will give up if they are doing something they don't like just because they want to burn calories. • Hello everyone: Okay here are 2 post that I think you all should read if the scale is getting to you. The first is by chanstriste13 and it's got to be the funniest take on the love/hate relationship most (if not all) of us have with the scale. You may even want to print it out and keep it close to your scale to read before…

  • You think peanut butter is addictive just try almond or better yet cashew butter now that ones addictive. I buy a little cashew butter at a time (cause I can't be trusted with an entire jar) at a bulk store and their are no additives or preservatives.
