From my personal weight loss - yes. Although my weight loss slowed down dramatically and I found it spurted again once I relaxed a bit and started eating 1300 to 1400 a day. Also, eating just that couple of hundred calories more each day stopped me turning demonic!!

Exactly. MFP is designed to help you log your food (min 1200 cals a day) and help you change your lifestyle whilst losing weight slowly. Well said!
-
I pre-log but then add the extras :o) works for me!

I've had my mirena for around 1.5 yrs. I am moody and gained around 30lbs since having it put in. I have lost over 50 lbs whilst it's still in though so don't believe it to be hindering my progress. I will be having it removed due to sleep issues and mood swings, oh and the fact that I spot/bleed constantly with mine!! I…

Too much sodium can make you retain water (especially in your abdomen and legs). Apparently a lower sodium diet helps you with weight loss. It can also lower your blood pressure and reduce the risk of kidney stones and osteoporosis.

Birthday cup cake at work (it's my birthday tomorrow). 4 months with no cake I think i deserved it!!!!

Salad with a variation of things added i.e. egg one day, cubed cheese another, tuna, seafood sticks etc. I also like Ryvita with Phillie on the days in-between! Small healthy snacks between meals also (of course)

I'm getting married in August 2013. The proposal was what I needed to turn on that switch in my head to serious! My weight was tumbling out of control and with a BMI of almost morbidly obese it was definitely a change. Having now lost 44lbs and almost in the 'overweight' BMI I feel quite proud of myself. Just another 44lbs…

Brilliant advice, good on you for keeping going so long. I just hope I can keep it going 1/2 as long as only 1/2 way through my journey.

Hi Erin, feel free to add me. I am a mum of 2 (5 and 2) and battling to lose baby weight (still), and still need to lose around 50 lbs.
-
Welcome, feel free to add me. I started my journey needing to lose 88 lbs and have done 39 lbs since February. Best of Luck.
-
Well done, you have done amazingly!
-
I log it all and try to remain under calories even though I know I've eaten totally the wrong foods :ohwell:
-
My goal is a loss of 88lbs - i'm 37 down since February. I just take a day at a time and set myself small goals. My next is 40lbs loss (just because it's not 30something any more) I will then hope for 42 (3 stones). It keeps me going! Current weight is 205lbs. Feel free to add me. Claire

I started at the end of February at 242 and now 205. Hoping to get to 156 (long way to go). Fantastic weight loss for you so far!
