  • It was a gift so I have guilt issues, but yeah with no internet in my foreseeable future...
  • Oh you guys are the best, thank you! I just ordered the Polar ft4 for $63 on Amazon with free shipping! Saved myself over $30! I hope I don't get a dud, most the reviews were 5 star but the 1 and 2 star reviews were pretty scary...
  • I just went with 'moderate' because I never actually add up my time spent working out. I just added up last week though (Mon-Sun) and I had roughly 12 hours of logged cardio. And it felt like a slack week which makes me wonder what my ”good” weeks look like. Gawd I might be waaaaay off here... :(
  • I took a nice nap and woke up in a better mood then read your replies and felt better still! Thanks for letting me vent and making me feel less of a loser, lol. My biggest challenge is that I HATE cooking, with an absolute passion. Two step meals are too much work for me most of the time. I just loathe it. If I have to…
  • Okay I'll stay my course then. I'm so skittish about it, lol. Thanks for weighing in y'all. If I could get set up with a computer and calibrate the thing that might help. Even the time is off, I have to set an alarm for 5:45 am to record my burn because the time is so far off it rolls over at 6 am thinking it's midnight. :P
  • I'm 35, 5 ft 1.7 in, 120 lbs. I usually do an hour of weights every other day alternating with an 60-90 min on the treadmill every other day, I do this 5-6 days/week. I do go for walks with my kids (usually pull the younger two in a wagon = over 100 lb load) for around 40 min. I mow the yard an hour every other week or so.…
  • I've just been using Body Fortress super advanced whey isolate in vanilla creme. I like it, I can drink it mixed with water and actually enjoy it, lol. I don't know how it stacks up against other isolates on the market tho, it's not expensive, 2 lbs for a little over $20. One scoop has 130 cal and 30g protein. No fat, 2g…
  • Ha! So it's NOT that I'm a disgusting out of control pig, lmao. My TDEE is 2000 and I've overshot it just about every day the last few days since I decided to try this eating at TDEE business. I'm ravenous suddenly.
  • Holy crap you aren't kidding. INSANE hunger. My poor body and its desperate attempt to recoup nutrients. Anyway, welcome OP!

  • OMGGGG Emilit you look AMAZING! I think you should be the EM2LM poster girl, lol. Srsly seeing that gives me so much hope. I've been slowly increasing my calories and for days now I've been eating at (ok over) TDEE but my workouts suddenly went from feeling grueling to almost too easy. I know my body is happy finally…
  • You were close, I'm 35 =)
  • Yup I figured I'd do a mini-metabolism reset and eat at TDEE for two weeks if I could figure out what my TDEE is and whether I should be eating it or netting it every day...
  • I'm 5' 1” (5' 1.75” to be exact lmao) and currently 120 lbs (or was until I started EM2LM but I haven't weighed in a few weeks), I want to get down to at least 115 lbs. I guess I'm moderately active. Are those the stats you need?
  • This is exactly what I needed to know, thank you! And thanks everybody for your help getting me started. :)
  • Hey thanks for all your help everyone! I'm not below my weight range, I currently weigh 120 lbs and I'm just under 5' 2”, I really think the hair loss came from losing weight so quickly, I have a pic if me from Jan and a pic of me from April and the difference is extreme! I love LOVE being thin now but I also want to be…
  • From the side it's not as apparent just how wide, square and flabby it actually is lol.
  • I almost always ate more than 1200, closer to 14-1500, but then I would do heavy cardio until I was at or below 1200. My BMR is 1295 so I figured I was close enough. My body was coming along beautifully but my face looked so haggard and the hair issue was disconcerting. Today I learned that my TDEE is 2235 and for a 15%…
  • I don't think I have an eating disorder and I almost always ate over 1200 cal/day, I would just workout enough to take me back at or under 1200. I am taking a women's one-a-day multivitamin as well as D3 and a B complex. I will try to slowly up my calories for my health and pray to dear God that I don't go up a jean size…
  • Ok so the Eat More to Lose More group has been interesting, I finally know what TDEE means, I figured out my cut, it still seems like a lot of calories and I'm not gonna lie about it, it scares me to death. Just the thought of gaining even a pound makes me panic almost to a scary harmful degree. That said, it makes sense.…
  • Hi mamas! I'm nursing my fourth (and hopefully last) ”baby” (he is nearly 31 months now). I have no idea if nursing is still burning calories for me or not, at this point he only nurses before nap and at bedtime and maybe an occasional extra during the day if he's not feeling well, not even sure I have much milk left, I…
  • WORST. It's been the WORST day since yesterday. WTF did ”best” come from?! When did I become such a flaming optimist?! lmao
  • That song cracks me up! Ahhhh Flogging Molly... I like Best Day Since Yesterday
  • I secretly listen to Eminem, I might be one of the last people you would look at and think ”oh she would”, lol. But I do. I love it. XD
  • So the MFP estimates are lower than actual burn? I'm okay with that, I try to overestimate what I consume and under estimate what I burn anyway, that way the worst that can happen is I lose more than I planned on.
  • We have an Ergo, a Sachi mei tai, a few fleece pouches and a local WAHM ring sling. Oh and a stretch velvet Eden mt. Was drooling over a Kinderpack but my tiny is almost 2.5 now so I'm not willing to fork out the money anymore lol.
  • Okay great thanks for giving me some direction. I'm not anything close to a competitive body builder, lol, but I don't want to just be thin. I actually do want definition and do not want to be burning off lean muscle if I can at all help it.
  • SQEEEE! I'm just excited to see another babywearing mama on here, lol. I've actually been wondering the same so thanx for posting. :)
  • Since May of 09, so almost... THREE YEARS!!! I was thinking closer to two so OMG this is a disturbing moment for me... :'(
  • Here! Been single a few years now and really would like to jump into the dating pool but OMG how when I have kids?! I get panicky thinking maybe I'm basically undateable now. My treadmill is my boyfriend these days, I can think of much funner ways of burning calories but at least by the time I'm done I don't have the…
  • Thanks guys! I tried to add you all but I guess I can't add more than five friends in ten minutes. I'll come back and add everyone else later. If I end up sending duplicate requests just forgive and disregard, lol.
