I'm 5'9ish and a larger build. I started out at 220lbs at my heaviest and am currently around 180ish. I have been doing lots of strength training and really trying to get my snacking under control. I would love some more tall friends :)

I try and keep my snacks pretty healthy. I like nuts (as long as you measure them out), cheese, jerky, fruit, sugar free jello, veggies with hummus.

I guess try and bring high protein snacks with me to work. However I find that drinking green tea always helps me out.

I cannot find the right shoes yet! I look everywhere for a mid heel red pumps with a bow, no luck yet. I will have to check out Zappos, that is a sweet return policy. You never know which shoes are comfortable and which are not :) As for this week I am really trying to stay focused and watch my carb intake.

What a beautiful wedding nicky! I agree I think all the handemade details really made your wedding. That is what I am trying to work on for my vintage wedding. Seems like a lot of work now but I am sure it will be worth it :)

Yay for another challenge. I am looking forward to it keep my accountable. I will get fitted for my dress probably in August, so I really need to work hard these all of July. It's scary how fast our weddings are approaching. Anyone else stressed out? :)

Yay! Can't wait for the new challenge. I would like to lose 10 lbs before my wedding. I am feeling good where I am at but 10 lbs would be awesome. I really need to also work on toning my arms and legs up.

I am not having the best week either :( I have been really tired and not getting in my workouts like I should. My eating has been okay, I did splurge on mexican food last night. Oh well guess everyone deserves a cheat day every now and then :)

I'm a fellow pear and I agree with the above: Squats, lunges! I know they suck but jump squats I think have really helped me with the outer parts of my huge thighs :)

I think the biggest thing we can all do it just stay consistent. If you just keep logging your food, eating healthy foods and working out you will see the results you want. I agree, like my grandma always said "When you marry someone you marry their whole family." Like it or not they will be a part of our lives. I guess my problem is I just ignore the issues with her hoping they will go away instead of addressing them with her. I really need to figure all that out at some point.
