Well mines a little different but this past sept I broke my knee cap and was in an immobilizer for 6 weeks. Once I was done w the immobilizer, I did PT and exercised very slowly @ first on my gazelle. (Very low impact) and worked myself up to force myself to keep pushing. I too suffer from chronic migraines frequently and have for years. Sometimes I really can't get out of bed no matter how much prescrip med I take but if I'm half way functional, I use my gazelle to exercise. Its very low impact and sometimes my migraine is a little better by the time I'm done! I hope this helps..

Ok so I got my dvds yesterday and started the workout. My 5lb weights were just fine. You can use heavier if you like but even in the dvds she doesn't say how heavy really to be using. Its what you can handle.

I just did the 2nd dvd (you rotate bw dvd 1 and 2 the first month). I am loving the sweat! Next weekend ill be leaving MN to drive to louisiana for vacation so I know that at least 1 day I won't be able to work out (the drive is about 18 hrs) and that makes me sad :(

I LOVE turbo jam.. i try to do the full 45 min workout at least 3 x's a week. like you im quite busy myself with a house full of boys plus I work FT... My bf is also in school so some nights hes not at home to help so i dont get to my workouts til 8:30-9 at night!!

Mine was right around Christmas. I had told the kids that I had bought stuff for us to make cookies for Santa and the 6 yo said "Why doesnt Santa get healthy stuff?" THAT made me look at my food choices and lifestyle and realize i needed to change BIG time for myself and to set a good example for my kids.

Sparkpeople.com will actually give you meal plans daily. The main part is, eat the right amt of proteins, fruits and lots of veggies.

So my secret goal sounds kinda dorky but I was watching Ellen one day when Michelle Obama was on and they had a push up contest.. I can barely do any (full.. not girl ones) and I would love to be able to just make it look so easy like they did.
