what are the ages of your kids? daycare for the summer are 10m, almost 2, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4.5, 5.5, 6, 7... not all every day:) my kids are almost 8, almost 10 and 11.5 and we have their random friends over for playdates....

Snacks for the kids are always interesting. I seem to have a crew of picky eaters this time around. Goldfish, graham crackers, cheese sticks, applesauce, grapes, bananas, yogurt, nutragrain bars, vanilla wafers, fruit pops. Most the snacks are served with milk.

Week 5 day 2 completed yesterday! Because of my schedule and working at home with daycare I ran back and forth in my backyard playground.... No hills but lots of rubber mulch :) I was thrilled when I ran the 8 min straight! I haven't done that in almost 20 years!

We use our crockpot to cook up a bunch of meat to use during the week in different ways. BBQ chicken/ turkey or even just cooked with chicken stock to add into pasta or rice...

I drink 6 to 10 cups a day. The 6 is typically on the weekend. I count water with flavorings like crystal light or mio as water. I'm not a big fan of plain water. I don't know if its helped with weight loss but I don't feel as tired for some reason.

I just want to encourage you to try some new things and maybe some old that didn't work before but now might! I have daycare plus my 3 boys so I understand it can be a challenge. I have a fitbit zip. I have lost 30lbs in 6 months! I started at 2300 steps baseline and now 6 days a week I shoot for 10-15000!
