Also nursing! Feel free to add me as well!

Yay!!! Congrats!

Hooray for all the baby movements!! So exciting! I felt my little guy kick for the first time yesterday too. I'm officially 19 weeks! I apologize in advance for this little rant, but I figured if anyone would understand, you ladies will. Last night was a coworkers birthday and I joined them out while they had a few drinks.…

The sarcasm totally went over my head on this one!! You look fantastic!!

I was shocked when I read this! We're due a few days apart and my older brother has been sending updates as his wife in labor right now! I love hearing all the results of your anatomy scans and the names you've picked out!! I love the second trimester! So many exciting things happen and I haven't been too sick (and not yet…

I love all the belly pics!! You all look so cute!! And I almost choked on my chocolate pudding after reading this!! haha I love it!!

I'm 17 weeks and have gained a little less than 4 pounds. I was starting to wonder why I hadn't gained an ounce throughout my first trimester but as soon as I commented on it, I shot up 5 pounds in two weeks. I figured some of it was water weight because a few ounces disappeared the next day. Thankfully, its evened out…

This happened with my sister in law around the same time. Her feet were so swollen, she could only wear flip flops. Unfortunately, there was nothing she could do to get it do down and her doctor just told her over and over to drink more water. But with her, it was nothing serious.

Congrats!!! Thats so exciting! I love the name too!

Also dropping in to say Hi! This is my first pregnancy and I hit my 14th week last Friday so I feel comfortable saying I'm officially in my second trimester! Its so exciting to enter this stage as there are so many "milestones" in this trimester: the finally pregnant looking belly, feeling movement for the first time,…

Seconded. I'd rather my friends just say nothing at all. I usually have more harsh things to say to myself than my friends would anyway.

You'll have the frame of mind of an early Alzheimer's patient... You'll pee your pants if you sneeze too hard, laugh too hard, or feel even the slightest breeze...

Hooray for being pregnant!! My advice? Eat what you're able and don't stress over it. It'll get better as you are approach your second trimester. If its really wearing on you, try looking into a "green powder" to supplement your lack of veggies and be sure to take your prenatal. But most importantly - please don't stress.…

I'd eat more fruits and veggies and less packaged foods. Stick to the outside of the grocery store. Drink more water and less sugary, calorie filled drinks. How do you figure your calorie burn? I'd suggest getting a HRM if you don't already have one and watch your heartrate. You also seem to be putting a lot of time into…

We told our parents right away, about 5 weeks. Mine were too excited to keep quiet, so I agreed they could tell other family and their friends as long as they also agreed to tell them if we had unfortunate news at our first appointment. We had our first appointment at 9 weeks and told our close friends and his family as we…

I'm so sorry to hear!! But I'm SO glad all is well! Keep us updated! I also heard 12, 13 AND 14 weeks. I've had people warn me about things not to do in the first trimester, so I figured waiting until the latest I've been told would be best. It couldn't hurt anyway. But thats also just me.

I'm also glad this isn't a grapefruit only diet! That's the only one I've heard of. I'm glad you're feeling so great with this though! I heard that if you cut them half and put them cut side down on a grill or in the oven, they become really, really sweet!
-
I'm so glad you were able to experience that! It made me smile. I absolutely loved seeing my little peanut kicking and waving :) Just wait until we can start feeling it as well!! I can't wait! I hope you keep us updated! I'll still keep you in my thoughts!! I've been feeling almost scarily well the past few days. I was so…

I have a desk job as well. I'm in the middle of a "steps challenge" and was shocked to find out I only take about 750 steps the entire time I'm at work! Everything I need is literally a few steps from my desk. I can only use that as an excuse to a certain extent however. We have an awesome wellness program!

I was orginally caught off guard when I was told I wouldn't have my first appointment until 10-12 weeks. But I understood after they told me its after that timeframe the chance of miscarrying drops drastically and unfortuantely nothing can really be done prior to that to stop it if its happening. But it was still the…

JillSandm: I'm so glad you received such good news so early on! Congrats on the good news! Cocolo: I've heard the second trimester ends after 12, 13 and 14 weeks. So I think you can just take your pick!

I would start eating at maintenance right away. You'll need more than 1300-1400 calories - even if its just for the added energy. I've read a few places that it isn't necessary to gain weight in the first trimester and some women even lose weight due to lack of appetite and morning sickness. But you probably shouldn't be…

I'm completely envious of your energy!! I can't wait until I start getting mine back! I ordered a set of DVD's called Body by Trimester at the recommendation of someone else here. Every reviewer on Amazon gave it a 5/5! So far mine has only been used for decoration so I can't give any personal insight, but its still worth…

Welcome and congrats ladies!! It wasn't until a few weeks before I found out I was pregnant that people started noticing my weightloss. Well this morning a coworker was eyeing my waistline before awkwardly asking if I was still trying to lose weight. I'm at a frustrating point. I don't want to tell people outside my close…

I was so worried for the first few weeks after I found out! I over analyzed everything, but it's all turned out well so far. I'm also one that hasn't had any morning sickness. There are a few things that make me nauseous, but as long as I avoid those I don't experience any of that either! I've been told to consider myself…

Thanks for all the support guys :) I really appreciate it! My1985Freckle: Sorry to hear about your situation and the insensitive doctor. I hope to see you back here soon!! Cocolo: A babymoon will be very exciting! I hope you have fun! I'm sorry to hear about the insurance issues though. I could turn this into a political…

I'll third the water.. I'm always so thirsty! I've been eating a lot of gummy worms too. For some reason it needs to be the worms. Other than that, I've never really had a craving. However, I do run through a mental list of what sounds palatable to eat. When I think of something, it has to be that item and it has to be…

ShoeDeava: Love the attitude!! I'm so happy this group exsists. It seems like everyone here understands completely and it makes me feel a lot better about my worries! snowgrrl: I know exactly how you feel as far as being completely exhausted. I think I could sleep all day and still be tired! I'm almost 11 weeks now and it…

Also a big fan of the show! I can't even guess how many times I've watched each season on DVD. Somehow, the language was set to Portuguese with English subtitles. That definitely caused a room full of laughter!
