This is exactly what I do. I get up, get back in, get up....on and on. I don't like sleeping pills because the make me feel groggy in the mornings. But i know exactly what you mean. I've done a sleep study, which yeilded nothing except that I don't have sleep apnea. It's been suggested by others that my circadian rythms…

Most definitely. I ended up taking night shift jobs for years because of this, until I went into management. Even when I go to work at 5 am, I still can't get to sleep at night.

I don't track water because I know I'm drinking plenty. I also don't track catsup or mustard anymore because the calories are negligible in the brands/amounts I use.

Leftovers are great, I try to make a little extra the night before sometimes so I'll have enough to do lunch. If not leftovers, my go-to lunch is a veggie burger. I also usually grab some yogurt and pineapple with a banana for snacks.

I wouldn't give up on your Saab too quickly...I found a new Throttle body assembly on http://www.saabusaparts.com for the '03 9-3 Wagon...maybe you could e-mail them to see if they can point you in the right direction? Surely if '03 parts are available there, '04 parts would be too...

Hey it doesn't have to be impressive - when I was in college, I drove an 84 Chevy Celebrity wagon. In fact, I drove it from Indiana to Florida once as well. :-)

My grandfather had a small collection. I don't remember them all, but they included '28 & '29 buicks, a 38 Plymouth truck, A Packard 8, and a Hudson and a Jensen. He also owned a 1960 Ford Sunliner at one time, and he had a 1964 1/2 Midnight Blue Mustang with White top he bought for my grandma off the showroom floor.…

Imagine if Pontiac could've stayed alive long enough to do a retro T/A/Firebird. There are concept pics on google that blow my mind.

Yes, that's true. I guess it's just something that my grandfather ingrained in me at an early age. But then, he fought in WWII. So he had no love for anything Japanese.

Now THAT is sexy.

I agree. GM made extremely poor choices with all the lines it killed. In the past few decades, Pontiac went from a heavy hitter in the performance genre to something I couldn't even recognize (READ: Vibe, Montana. WTF GM?) Oldsmobile wasn't much different from Buick, so I can see letting them go, although I always had a…

I've been driving classics for years (just sold a 66 Nova tha was becoming a money pit) but recently I've been considering trading the Lincoln for something newer. I really like the Mazda3 (especially the SPEED3 version) and the Hyundai Veloster, but the problem is I prefer to buy American (or at least as close to American…

What I wouldn't give to get my hands on a GTO for the weekend. I've been a Tacoma fan since the 90's. I live not too awfully far from the Toyota plant in San Antonio, so I see TONS of Tundras, but not nearly enough Tacomas. TLC - if you ever need someone to take that bird off your hands...

You have to start logging everything at the end of the day. MFP also has a recipe function so that you can log homemade foods. Do that without changing your habits for a week, then evaluate. *Edit - As far as measuring your food goes, I would get whatever you normally eat on your plate, then measure to see what your…

I'm from Devine, which is just south of San Antonio...

THAT is an ingenious idea. Totally going to try that.

Not sure, but my guess would be that the 100g would include whatever just the edible portion is.

What a d**che.

After viewing your diary, I have a couple suggestions which echo previous posts: A) Try to consistently keep your sodium intake down. When I go overboard on the sodium, I tend to feel tired and sluggish. B) Add a multi-vitamin. After a few days you really will feel a difference - at least, I did. Just be sure to research…

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/44523397/ns/today-today_health/t/exercise-can-curb-hunger-new-research-finds/ I agree with this article. I find when I exercise I'm so not hungry. I would suggest trying to exercise earlier in the day so that by dinner, you have a bit more of your appetite back.

Nicotine is an appetite suppressant ( http://arstechnica.com/science/2011/06/researchers-learning-how-nicotine-works-as-an-appetite-suppresant/ ) so its understandable that you would experience an increase in appetite. I'm a smoker, and I plan to quit, but i'm afraid it may derail my nutritional efforts right now. As for…
