Not only can I work in my garden all day without needing to sit down and rest. I can actually weed like a normal person. I can remember when used to have to lay down on my stomach to weed my garden. Now not only am I not sitting or knealing, I'm bending over and pulling those darn weeds out will all my might.

This recipe is from the biggest loser cook book. I love it. I also us it with chicken. Servings: Serves 4 Ingredients 2/3 cup canned fire-roasted diced tomatoes 12 small green olives with pimientos (sometimes called manzillas), cut into quarters 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. minced onion 1 tsp. freshly crushed garlic or minced…

Find a new trainer. I'm 20lbs heavier than you and have been working with a trainer for over a year. I admit that sometimes we have to modify the exercises because of some limitations. But she always makes the workouts to fit my level and by the end of our session i have a feeling of accomplishment. Honestly my first…

Right there with you. It seems that every time I have a "success", my celebration sets me back another month. I wish I could re-program my brain to learn to embrace success and not sabotage my hard work. The only advise I can give, is to keep plugging away and eventually success will find you!

at first i wanted X (roman numerial for 10) for every 10 lbs i lost in a chain around my ankle. But lately i've been thinking the number of pounds lost on my wrist for a constant reminder.

try cooking in in broth instead of water. it gives it a great flaver that stands on its own. I add browned ground turkey and tomatoe sauce for a "spanish" rice type of meal (along with peppers, onions and garlic)

It's hard. I was diet soda free from dec - jan (until my dad had triple bypass surgery) and broke down and had a pepsi. I've been trying to stop ever since. Today was day 1 with no soda. I did have a coffee this moring, but no carbonated drinks so far. Good luck the headaches usually only last a couple days.

I could use some tips too! My downfall seems to be while cooking dinner. I guess not having the chips in the house in first place would be a good place to start.

Hi Krista. I just joined MFP also. My starting weight (before joining) was 318. I'm down to 279, so I have about 104 more to go. Please feel free to add me. I'm finding this site to be a great distraction in the evening - instead of hitting the fridge.

I'm new to MFP. I'm 47 and have lost almost 40lbs over the last year. Looking to lost about 100 more (probably more). Came here because I need more motivation. I've been having a hard time getting the food issue resolved. I have no problem with the exercise portion. I work out 6 days a week (2 with a trainer). I have two…
